"When I was a young child, I believed that love was reserved for fictional characters and celebrities.

I believed that someone had made it so I could not be loved unless I was important.

I believed that unless I made something of myself, I would never know what it felt like to be loved, to be held in such a gentle manner, to be caught in the most angelic of gazes, to look back down a great hall of memories and have all the beautiful moments in their rightful places on the walls, but still not truly understand.

It took me years to finally grasp the possibility that I was wrong in my assumptions.

For me to understand that love is for everyone.

That love is for the couple you saw on the street,
the kids who met in the third grade and got engaged after graduation,
the friendships that grew into more,
the broken and the damned,
the people in the spotlight,
the underdogs,
the outlaws,
the broken ones
and those who've never been.

Love is for the unlovable.

Love is complex, yet it is reserved for even the simplest of people."
