This Is The Primetime (Sequel To "Try Not To Fall For The Blue Haired Douche")

Chapter 18

"So... wanna be my girlfriend?" he asked. I nodded slowly.

"Of course." I said. He smiled and kissed me. About ninety or more percent of the crowd cheered, but I could tell there was some people that weren't happy.

Josh and I broke apart from the kiss, and he smiled. He squeezed my hand and went back to finish the concert.

Soft music played around us, and Josh and I slow danced next to each other. He had his forehead against mine, and we whispered things to each other. He chuckled. He dripped a chain around my neck, and I looked at the necklace. It had a big key as a charm.

"Happy birthday, Laurey. Loves ya." he said. I laughed and he kissed me. 

                                                                            . . .

"It's really late, you should go to bed." he said. I wanted to protest that I wasn't tired, but he shh-ed me. "Daddy's got you, go to sleep." he whispered.

I laughed tiredly. Josh brought me upstairs, and tucked me under the covers. He kissed my forehead, and began to leave. I grabbed his wrist.

"Stay?" I asked. He smiled and lay down next to me.

He wrapped his arms around me, and I cuddled into his chest. I fell asleep with Josh softy singing a lullaby in my ear.

"Oh my god Josh!" I gasped. I covered my mouth with my hands.

A little black cat kitten stuck it's head out of his hood. I gently took it out of his hood. He turned around and smiled. 

"Tux and Anemonie had 3 kittens." he smiled. "I thought you'd like the black cat." 

"He's adorable!" I said. The cat let out a little meow and I swear my heart melted. 

"I thought you could use a little buddy while you worked on the album." he said. I carefully tucked the kitten into my arms and hugged him. 

"I love you, you know that right?" I asked. He chuckled. 

"I know. Just try not to love the cat more than me." he said. I kissed his lips.

I'll admit. I got a little teary eyed while saying goodbye to Josh. 

He pulled me close to him for a hug, and reminded me that if I stayed true to my promise, he's stay true to his. He kissed me over and over again, telling me that it was for what he's miss while I'm gone. 

Then he told me he loved me. I smiled and kissed him. 

"You do realize Lauren has to leave this YEAR, right?" Matt reminded us. I blushed and Josh reluctantly released me from his arms. 

Before I turned to go with Jacob, Chris, Tommy and Dave, Josh grabbed my wrist. 

"Remember your promise about the necklace. That's how I'll know if I'm going to be here next year." he said. I smiled. 

I drew a little X over my hear. "Cross my heart and hope to die." I said. He chuckled, knowing I said that because of his song. 

"Bye!" I said, as I met up with the Hedley guys.

Then she came in. "Why am I in here?" she asked, not noticing I was awake. 

I noticed her arm was heavily bandaged, and that was about it. She had some scratches here and there. I felt proud I protected her from getting hurt any more than that. 

The nurse pointed at me. Lauren got wide eyed, then rushed over to the bed and hugged me. She started crying on my shirt. 

"Please tell me this isn't a dream..." she whispered. I smiled and pulled her onto my lap. 

I shook my head, and kissed her cheek. She squeezed me as hard as she could.

"NEVER do that to me AGAIN Ramsay. NEVER AGAIN." she said. I hugged her. 

"I swear." I said, my voice hoarse.

I smiled. I peeked up at Josh, and he looked so peaceful. I squirmed up and kissed his cheek. Even thought I thought he was asleep, he smiled. 

"I love you." he yawned. 

"I love you too." I chuckled, cuddling back between his arm and chest. 

I yawned, and fell asleep.

OKAY. I bet you're going to wonder why I picked those EXACT parts, right? Right. Anyway, I picked the first one because well... They had to meet to fall in love! Then I picked the 'Because I love you' part because that's when Lauren first admitted she had feelings too Josh. Then I picked the 'Stutter' part, because that's when they started dating. Then I picked the scene I never actually put in the story, but added when she was remembering Josh when she had amnesia, because that's when Josh gave her her key necklace, and that key necklace was a pretty important part of this story. Then I picked the next one because... this is a little weird and perverted... but that was the first time they slept together. I have a habit to end chapters with Lauren falling asleep with Josh, so I figured that was an important part. I chose the Icky part because Icky is basically a main character in the story, and that's when she got him. The Hedley part wasn't really REALLY important to Josh and Lauren's relationship, but that's when she went away for a year and she proved even if they didn't see each other for a year, she would stay with him. Then last but not least, I picked the car accident, when Josh woke up. I figured that part was important... because.... HE CAME BACK TO LIFE TO BE WITH HER. It's pretty important in their relationship. Anyway, I NEED IDEAS! I can't think of ANYTHING for the chapters after the Wedding chapter!!!!! I NEED ideas!
