"How do you know that" the judge says cocking his head to the side
"We have security video from inside of Mr.Bennett's home" she says pointing to the tv making us all look
The video plays and you see her phone hit the floor and her try to swing on me before showing me beat her up and my leg starts to bounce faster
"Okay that's enough" the judge says before the tv pauses and he looks at me
"You can call your first witness" the judge says nodding toward my lawyer
"I would like to call Mr.Dayvon Bennett to the stand" she says looking at Von and he gets up going to the seat and sitting down and they make him put his hand on the Bible
"Mr.Bennett what is Ms.Cheaves to you" she asks with one hand on the table pacing the floor
"That's my wife" Von says smiling
"Legally?" The Judge asks
"Nah not yet" Von says making the girl scoff
"So could you tell us what happened the day Ms.Brooks came to your home" my lawyer asks
Von tell his side of the story and the judge asks him about minor details he left out then he come back to sit down then my lawyer calls the girl to the stand
"Now Ms.Brooks I only have two questions..are you really pregnant..and is it Mr.Bennett's?" She says
"I mean duh who else's could it be" she says rolling her eyes
"Who really knows" my lawyer says
"We had you take a pregnancy test and it came back..positive" my lawyer says making me shake my head
The girl gets up and walks off the stand saying " okay I'm done with questions then I'm pregnant it's Von baby and she attacked bc she's jealous done deal" she says waving my lawyer off
"Aht aht no ma'am we also had an ultrasound done and found no fetus..that womb is empty" she says handing the judge the ultrasound before showing it on the tv making the girl stop and slowly turn around tears rolling down her face
"Ahh man I just wanted to be with Von and be happy..can't you just understand where I'm coming from one grieving girl to another" she says falling to her knees infront of the judge
"I'm sorry no ma'am I cannot..I now declare Ms.Jayda Cheaves innocent and Ms.Sherika Brooks guilty of perjury I now sentence you to 5 months..you're lucky it's only that..court is adjourned" The judge says standing up and walking out and I stand up grabbing my stuff
I turn to von smiling big hugging him and he hugs me tight to his chest kissing my forehead then grabbing my hand taking us to my lawyer before we leave going home
When we get to his house we change and sit in the bed
"I'm like you now"I say taking a video on his phone
"What" he asks laughing
"Cause I beat my case" I says laughing
He shakes his head looking at me licking his lips
"Caught a body beat that's body catch some more lil savage in me ian neva fucking goin mask up they can't tell who fucking scoring" I sing one of his songs laughing
"When you listened to that" he asks laughing
"Nigga I always listened to it" I say going on his
Photos before he snatched his phone
"Why I can't go in your pictures" i asks squinting
"It's sum you can't see.. no Ian cheating on you" he says squinting at me
"Yeah okay" I says laying down with my back facing him
He grabs my waist pulling me back "what you doing" he asks and his breath on my neck sends chills down my spin
"Finna take a nap" I say with a flat tone
"We going out to dinner tomorrow"he says rubbing up and down my side
"Okay" I say closing my eyes
He pulls back from me before handing me his phone
"Huh ain't no reason fa you to be mad ion want your surprise to be ruined" he says as I sit up pushing the phone away
"You prolly deleted whatever it was now" I say crossing my arms
"It ain't deleted I just don't want your surprise to be ruined bae" he says caressing my face while holding my chin
I peck his lips before cuddling up next to him and he wraps his arms around me kissing me deeply pulling me into his lap before I start yawning
"You sleepy mama?" He asks pulling away looking at me
I nod laying my head on his shoulder
"I missed this" I say
"Me too"Von says kissing my cheek then my forehead
he lays down pulling the cover over us as we fall asleep together
