"Did I do something wrong?" You frowned, trying your best to recall any actions that may have offended the Avatar of Envy.

"Can't you ask?"

"Levi? No, he doesn't even stay long enough."

"I meant someone else." The male hummed. "Maybe someone who might know? Not me."

"...Maybe Satan knows. He has a weird aura around him most of the time."

"What kind of aura?"

"An aura like he knows something we don't, and is having the time of his life with it." Beelzebub shrugged, still eating.

You paused.

"...Alright then. Thank you, Beel."

Without wasting a second, you made your way to Satan's room and knocked.

...

Nothing.

You knocked again, and as before, no response.

You pressed your ear against his door, hearing nothing from the inside. Trying to twist the knob, you found it locked.

A disappointed sigh left your mouth.

Where could Satan possibly be right now?

...

Maybe you could just check in with him in the morning.

Promptly giving up, you retreated back to your room. Though, before you could go inside, you came across Satan on his way back to his own room.

"Ah, Satan. Hold on."

The blond paused, turning to face you. Satan flashed you one of his usual smiles. The ones he'd usually give Lucifer knowing damn well the Avatar of Pride was about to fall down the stairs or something.

"Anything wrong, (M/n)?"

"...What's wrong with Levi? You have an idea, don't you?" You didn't bother beating around the bush. Satan chuckled.

"Maybe. But aren't you forgetting something?"

"...I'm not."

That question gave you a sense of Déjà vu, for some reason.
