"Um, what happened here?"
"...Long story. I'm not here simply destroying property, I promise."
"...I'm not here to reprimand you for doing...whatever the heck you're doing right now." Levi awkwardly gestures to the lines in the mud.
"...No, actually. What are you doing?"
"Looking for something. Oh, and are you feeling alright now?" You patted your hands down from holding the rough stick for long.
"'Feeling alright?'" Levi repeated. You raised a brow before shrugging, avoiding eye contact.
"Well, yeah. Satan told me that you didn't want to talk to me because you weren't feeling alright."
"That's..." Levi trailed off. You sent him a soft smile. "Don't worry. I know you weren't just feeling sick. You were mad at me, right?"
"So you knew..."
"Yup. I wanted to apologize, but I was still looking for a reason why you'd get mad at me. After all, apologizing for something I didn't know I did is pretty insulting to you, right?"
You shot him a bright grin. Levi felt even guiltier. He swerved his shoes against the mud idly. Due to his anxious move, something blue was seen below the mud. Levi himself didn't notice.
"Well the truth is..."
"Wait, what's that under your foot?" You nonchalantly interrupted. Leviathan paused, looking down.
Indeed, something blue was now visible. You walked closer, picking up the item despite the mud coating your hands.
You carefully wiped the excess mud as you held the item up. Then you grinned. "Alright! I found it, finally!"
In your hand was... A familiar letter. Albeit now a bit soggy and very much dirty.
Leviathan blanked out as you tried to take off as much mud as you could without damaging the letter. You attempted to open the seal.
The indigo-haired male then blinked twice, trying to focus.
"...You were looking for my letter?!"
"'Your letter?'" You raised a brow, tilting your head to the side. "This was from you?"
"Ah-- uh...uhm..." Levi's words got caught up in his throat as his mind drew blank.
