"...Ugh, Beel. Are you even listening?"

"Yeah." The male stretched his legs.

Leviathan's rant could've lasted in one minute if he'd just get to the point, honestly. But then again, it was a rant, not a simple answer.

"So...I dunno. I can't face (M/n) the same anymore."

"...(M/n) doesn't know about that."

"How can he not? I saw the envelope between his notebook the day I slipped it into his locker. You can even ask Satan."

"Yeah, but just because he had it doesn't mean he read it." A new voice pipped up.

Leviathan screamed once again, now by the presence of the Avatar of Wrath just by his door, holding his phone.

The door was open, somehow without him noticing...?

Satan smiled. "Beel left it agape. And I figured I should see if I was right."

"Ack...! Tell him, Satan! Tell Beel (M/n) read the letter and left me hanging!" The indigo-haired male cried.

Beel raised a brow, looking up at the male by the doorway. Satan sighed.

"...It's kind of funny how much of an idiot you are."

"...what?" Levi's previous despair was now laced with confusion.

Satan pocketed his phone and stood beside the still sitting Beelzebub. "Have you ever considered that (M/n) never actually got the chance to read the letter you gave him?"

"...That's impossible." Levi argued. The male shrugged before turning around to leave the room. "If you say so. And Beel, didn't something happen earlier that day?"

"...Earlier that day?" Beelzebub repeated as Satan left the room completely, though not without one last remark.

"(M/n) is out by the courtyard. If you're wondering."

"Why would I want to know where he is...?" Levi uttered to himself. "Beel, what was Satan talking about that happened that day?"

"...Um." Beel scrunched up his brows, trying to recall. "...No?"
