Chapter 1 <3

I just wanted to start off my saying that in this AU the thing when the whole of Hawkins turns to the upside down doesn't happen and they are all back in Hawkins now after defeating Vecna and right now they're at Mikes house in the basement celebrating with a party. Also the Byers moved back to Hawkins!

3rd person but mainly focusing on will and Lucas's POV

The whole gang was back together, the original party, Steve, Robin, Nancy and Eddie were even there! Even though some of them like Eddie was a brand new addition to the party..It was perfect having everyone around him, especially Mike wheeler..

Now looking back at this you'd notice something that nobody else woul.Will had a huge crush on Mike ever since he was a young boy.

He used to draw him and Mike playing D&D together, he used to make picture collages of him and Mike and would write songs and story's for his 'best friend'. A lot of the time these things were always sort of always trying to show hints that he liked Mike but he never really caught on. Or so will thought because everything tonight was about to change that.

"So who wants to play truth or dare?!", Eddie shouted putting his arm around Nancy and Robins shoulders aggressively , pulling them side by side of him when they clearly were having a girl chat. Classic Eddie Will thought.

He hadn't known Eddie a while but he knew he was that touchy kinda guy, a bit weird but it was cool with they party, they were all kinda weird in their own ways anyway!

Robin pulled away from Eddie, crossing her arms and furring her eyebrows, "I do Eddie, but you gotta stop with the grabbing me and Nance we were having a nice talk!", she argued at the tall, messy haired boy in front of her, who was just rolling his eyes and didn't give the slightest shit.

"Yeah yeah whatever, blah blah blah.. Anyway, who's gonna start?, Eddie looked around all of the sofas scanning on who was going to say something.

Suddenly Mike Wheeler broke the silence with his 'angelic' voice, at least that's how Will would describe it to Lucas. Lucas was really the only one that knew about Wills crush on Mike, Will felt as if he could tell Lucas anything but he never knew why, it wasn't likes Lucas was his best friend or lover or anything, Lucas was just his 'friend'.

"I'll do dare, anyone can dare me I don't mind", Mike said with a bland face, fidgeting with his bony little fingers.

Lucas being the good supportive friend he was, trying to get Will and mike closer he then replied, "Yeah mike I dare you and Will to go upstairs to your bedroom and tell each other your deepest secrets!", everyone seemed a bit shocked by that, except for Max, she kinda sussed it out thought about wills crush on Mike so she smiled and went along with it.

"Okay I don't mind doing that if Will doesn't, come on will!", Mike held onto Wills hand carelessly, walking up the stairs.

Lucas couldn't help but feel a bit jealous, he knew he would probably get back with Max soon so he should've felt guilty about being jealous of Mike holding wills hand. But he didn't. He just felt envious of Mike, wishing it was him holding wills hand to spend time in a bedroom together even though he was the one who was trying to set them up.

Will headed up the staircase behind Mike, holding a tight clutch to his fingers. God how much he loved Mike Wheeler, he was so grateful as well that Lucas was such a good friend for helping him become closer to his loved one.

After running across the hallway to Mikes doorway, the finally arrived. Mike held the door open for Will to follow in front of him to his bunk bed that awaited to two of them in the corner of the large bedroom.

Mike followed after Will as he sat down on the bottom bunk of the bed, where holly would usually sleep beneath Mike.

There was a long moment of calm silence of the both of them looking deeply into each others eyes, Will honestly thought he could die in the moment, his palms began to sweat and his cheeks went all red with being flustered. But surprisingly to Will, it looked like Mike was feeling like that too?

"Uhm, do you want me to go first or you?", Mike asked, breaking the silence yet again, whilst scratching the back of his neck frantically.

"Okay...", Will smiled happily, blushing all over the place at Mike! He was so grateful that Lucas had paired them together to have this moment alone.

"My deepest secret is that...", he swallowed all of his saliva down to the back of his throat. He was actually about to confess this to Mike, this would determine whether or not he had a chance of romance with his best friend so he went on.

"I'm gay.", Will blurted it out, a moment of silence came over them again, Will was so worried about what on earth Mike was going to say..

"That's fine will I don't mind.", Mike said as if it was like Will said he dropped a chip on the floor, Mike sounded as if he really wasn't bothered!

"Actually, come to think of it, I think...", the taller dark boy stopped in the sentence, thinking back on it then continued, "I think my biggest secret is..."

You thought you was gonna get what he was gonna say, but you probably know anyway. I know right now that it sounds like a byler fic, I promise it will turn more byclair lol.
