This time, it was her who couldn't speak.

"Uh, oo, Sinta. I'm still here. Ris, I'll pick you up ha?"

"Uhm, okay, Lens. I'll see you later."

When she picked her up that night, armed with an arrangement of flowers, Leni couldn't help but marvel at how gorgeous Risa looked.

"Ang ganda ganda mo naman.." was the first thing out of her mouth as soon as Risa was in front of her.

"Thank you. Ikaw talaga, Lens. Stop na mukha na akong kamatis sa sobrang pula ko rito." Leni smiled at that, she loves making her kilig.

When they got to the restaurant, Risa couldn't help but gasp at the sight in front of her. They were in a private room of some sort. At the center of it was a candle-lit table and the floor was adorned with scattered fairy lights, balloons, and petals.

She turns to look at Leni, who's already watching her reaction, "Surprise! Nagustuhan mo ba?"

Risa nods, "I love it, Lens but you didn't have to.. akala ko ba dinner lang?"

Leni wraps her arms around Risa's waist, pulling her close, "Oh, bakit? Dinner lang naman ito ah?"

Risa, on the other hand, loops her arms around Leni's neck, "I know, but still... akala ko simpleng dinner lang."

"Hindi naman ganito palagi. Siguro gusto ko lang gawin talaga. I wanted to surprise you.. sobrang busy natin this week, ang daming naging trabaho hindi na tayo nagkita. Namiss kita sobra hindi ko na kinaya. I just had to see you. Gusto ko lang din sana tapusin ang linggong 'to on a high note. Gusto kong tapusin ang linggong 'to na kasama ka."

When Risa couldn't take the kilig anymore, she pulled Leni in a tight hug, effectively hiding her face from her as well, "Kainis ka." She said, lightly hitting Leni's shoulder.

"Oh, bakit naman?" Leni asked, trying to pull away from the hug so she could see Risa's face.

When Risa had finally relented, Risa's grinning from ear to ear that Leni couldn't help but smile as well, "Oh, why am I nakakainis?"

"Wala lang.. pinapakilig mo ako masyado. You do realize na hindi naman na kailangan? You have me already, Lens. We may not be official yet but I want you to know that you have me. You have my heart. Matagal na, Lens."

"Now, look who's making pakilig?" Leni replied with a smile, her dimple showing.

Risa couldn't help but cupped Leni's cheek, her thumb tracing that dimple she loves so much, "I guess pareho lang? And just so you know, namiss din kita. Sobra." Then she surprised her by leaning down and kissing said dimple.

"Tara na kain na tayo?" She then asked, chuckling seeing as Leni's still stunned from the kiss.

"Lens, are you okay?"

Leni then slowly looked at her, "Hindi na ata, Ris. That's one hell of a way to end the week and jumpstart the next."

"Sira... lika na nga. Ang dami mo naman sinasabi hindi pa nga 'yan goodnight kiss. Paano na lang mamaya pag dito na." She then pointed at her lips making Leni's eyes go wide.

"Talaga ba? Halika na ihahatid na kita para makapag goodnight ka na." Leni said tugging on her hand.

Risa couldn't help but laugh, "Loko ka talaga, Lens. Let's end our Sunday, right? Hmm? Mamaya na 'yon."

"Promise?"

"Promise."

Their Sundays weren't always as extravagant as that. Minsan they'd just go on a drive around QC just to get out of the house. Grab dinner or madalas they'd go to their old college haunts and eat their comfort food.
