"You'll be fine. Just do what you normally do." he said. I looked up at him.
"Burp into the microphone, trip over wires, and mess up on lyrics?" I asked.
"You still do that?" he asked, hiding a smirk.
"Society anxiety makes me nervous okay? I'm not as good as the wonderful Joshua Ramsay." I said, smiling. He smiled, and kissed me.
"No, you're better." he whispered in my ear.
. . .
The next day, at the concert...
"Hi!'' I said, and the crowd cheered. "So what do you want me to play first?"
Thousands of things were screamed out, but I heard Saviour quite a bit. "Saviour it is." I said.
I turned on my heel and nodded for the guys to start playing. We played through Saviour, and during the song, I spotted my mother. My dad was next to her, cheering his fucking head off.
Me and dad were always close. Mom? Not so much.
"Stand me up and maybe I won't be so small.. Free my hands and feet and maybe I won't always fall.. Save me!" I sang.
I saw Josh was close to them, but he was purposely staying far away. The guys were all there, making face at me. I held in the urge to laugh.
Next up, we played the Timing Is Everything. I jumped down in the crowd and skipped up the space between the barrier and the stage, giving high fives.
"Oh! Guess what?" I said after the song was finished. "I wrote a new song!"
I got back up on stage, and Steve (my stage manager) passed me up my acoustic guitar. I strummed it, then looked up.
"Wanna here it?" I asked, laughing. The crowd cheered and I started playing. "It's a little slow."
"My mother says you're a bad one,
But she doesn't now you like I do.
The laughs we share
How you take care...
Of me...
Sometimes... it's not the answer...
Blue eyes, tiny dancer...
Forever is not as long as we want,
But time stops with you...
No one knows what it's like, to feel this low
I wish we could just go... and leave it all behind
Sometimes... it's not the answer...
Blue eyes, tiny dancer...
Forever is not as long as we want,
But time stops with you...
...
Blue eyes, meet blue eyes,
It starts with a hello
But then it turns to something greater...
We could be together,
So blue eyes, run away with me!
My mother says your a bad one,
But she doesn't know you like I do....
Sometimes... it is the answer...
Blue eyes, tiny dancer...
Forever is not as long as we want,
But time stops with you ...
So run away with me." I sang.
I looked at and he smiled at me. He gave me the thumbs up, and I smiled.
Okay, this chapter basically sucked balls, but I updated so I'm good. Oh, and P.S. that song I actually wrote, and that is why it makes zero to none sense. But I didn't want to put a song she didn't write, or a song that made no sense, so I basically wrote down whatever came in my head. Oh, and go on Youtube and look up Lights Covers Behind Blue Eyes by the Who because I tried to put like, 20 different videos of it, and they kept saying the Youtube Video was invalid. But yeah, the song is supposed to sound like that.
P.S. I meant to post this later, hence the 'I loved all of your ideas' part, but I forgot about that, so I still want you all to give me ideas. Please?
