It was when Risa ended her speech, she thanked the listeners, their organizers and her, "Siyempre po sa ating minamahal na Vice President, Mahal kong VP Leni, karangalan kong makasama ka sa event na ito. Muli, maraming salamat po!" When Risa had said it she directly looked at her and she couldn't help the kilig she felt after.

At home, she asked her about it, "Wala lang. If I can't outright tell the world that I love you then think of it as my subtle way of telling them."

"Sus puro ka bola, My Senator." She said pulling Risa close as she snuggles beside her.

"Kilig ka naman, My VP," Risa mumbled already falling asleep beside her. She smiled at her then, leaning down to plant a soft kiss on her forehead, "Hindi ko naman sinasabing hindi, My Senator."

Risa, despite having her eyes closed, smiled.

Mahal/Love

However, if she thought "My VP" got her kilig enough that she would sometimes like to hide and giggle whenever Risa calls her that, she wasn't prepared for the amount of kilig she would get whenever Risa would her, "Love" or "Mahal".

They were at her condo unit. The girls had already left for work and school when Risa decided to visit. She had opened the door to a beaming Risa, wearing casual clothes and armed with paper bags. Their relationship was still very new then. They had already informed their kids since they figured they are both serious about it. However, they were still in their early stages.

"Hi! I thought I'd come over. Sorry, biglaan. Narealize ko lang din when I was doing my groceries. Malapit na pala ako sa inyo so I thought I'll drop by." Risa said as she dropped the paper bags on her dining table.

"Buti nalang you agreed despite the short notice. Sorry about that pala ah. Wala lang, again it was kind of biglaan, and I kind of miss you. Does that count as a valid reason to see you?" Risa asked shyly.

She couldn't help but smile at her. She may be the most eloquent and most composed person she'd seen on senate pero on a normal day talaga, lalo na when she gets excited or nervous, Risa tends to ramble. Another thing she finds adorable about her girlfriend.

She hugs her then, "You don't need an excuse or a reason to come and see me. You are always welcome here or sa office and for the record, namiss din kita."

"Good because I want to watch a series and I thought I'd rope you in on it. Kaya naman I bought us snacks. I got you your favorites." Risa disentangled herself from her hold and started unpacking the paper bags she brought.

May Cheetos puffs, Chippy, Chocnut, her favorite ice cream flavor, drinks, and other chips and dips that were mostly her favorites. She couldn't help but smile at her thoughtfulness.

Once they got settled into the couch, Risa immediately snuggled beside her, a bowl of mixed chips and dip in between them. They were too engrossed with the series they were watching that when Risa's phone started ringing she got startled.

Risa smiled apologetically at her before turning her focus back to the series they were watching, "Love, puwede paabot nung phone? Layo eh." She said nonchalantly. Her eyes are still on the screen in front of them.

Leni was too stunned to speak or move so she kept on looking at Risa, silently willing her to call her that again. When she still didn't move, Risa had put the show they were watching on pause.
