It's the start of a new day, it's your first day at a new school in Hawkins Indiana. It's February 10th, 1986, you're nervous to go cause you don't know anyone in Hawkins but your cousin who has lived here most of his life. His name is Steve Harrington. He's a pretty cool guy but he can be a bit dumb sometimes. He offers to take you to school on his way to his work and you agree to it, seeing he's the only person you know right now. He drives you to the school and you gather your stuff and start to get out of his car. " After school I'll come pick you up cause I'll be off when you're out." "Ok that's fine by me!" You replied. "Oh! And don't forget I'm taking you to meet all my friends after I get you!" He yelled out of the window as you walked away. "Sounds great! I can't wait!" You nervously walk away as he drives off. You make your way to the office to receive your schedule and locker number, and on your way you run into one of Steve's friends. "I don't think I've seen you here before, what's your name?" He asks. You tell him your name and he smiles. "Oh you're Steve's cousin! Hi, I'm Mike, nice to finally meet you!" You smile back and you shake his hand. "Since you're new, why don't I show you around, and then at lunch I'll introduce you to my friends" you look at him with a smile. "Ok that would be awesome." After a few long classes it's finally lunch, and Mike meets you at your locker and guides you to the lunchroom. "So this is our table-" he points a table with 2 other people sitting at it. "This is Dustin.. Dustin, this is Steve's cousin." Dustin stands up and bows to you. "m'lady" you look at him and giggle. "Nice to meet you Dustin." Then Mike points at someone with long brown hair, it's kinda curly but not fully, he has big brown eyes and a shirt that says 'Hellfire club' on it, he has a nice smile. "This is Eddie, the leader of Hellfire club." You look at Eddie and blush a little as he smirks at you and winks. "H.. Hi." You stutter and blush as he smiles at you. "Here, come sit next to me." Eddie said with a warm smile. You look at the empty spot and sit by him, still blushing but trying to hide it. "So how old are you?" Eddie asks. "Oh I just turn 17 last week actually." "Well happy late birthday!" You smile as you thank him. As time goes by school finally ends for the day and you wait outside for Steve to pick you up. "What? No ride?" You hear someone yell behind you. You turn around to see Eddie running up to you. "Oh no I'm just waiting for my cousin Steve to come get me." You smile at him. "Oh well is it ok if I keep you company till he gets here?" You look at him and nodd. "Awesome" you both sit down on the sidewalk while you wait for Steve to get there. "Now, you're positive he's picking you up?" You look at him with a confused look. "Honestly, I don't know, he should be here." You get up and walk to the phone and call Steve's work. "Steve where are you?" You asked him, sounding worried. "Oh shit, sorry, I got caught up here, can you walk home?" You growl at him and respond. "Yea I guess." You hang up the phone and walk back to Eddie. "So what happened?" Eddie asked. "Looks like I'm walking home." You reply as you roll your eyes. "I'll drive you home." You look at him and smile. "Are you sure? I don't wanna waste your time." He laughs. "Waste my time? Pfft, never! I'd be happy to take you home." You follow him to his car and y'all get in and he drives to your house. "Wanna come in?" You asked Eddie and you start to get out of his car. "Are you sure? I don't wanna be a bother or anything." You giggle. "No it's no problem at all, besides it's only me and Steve that live here and I hate being all by myself." He laughs. "Yea I can understand that. I'll stay as long as you want me to, I have nothing else to really do anyway." He sighs and sits on the couch in your living room. "Ok." You reply. "Would you like to watch a movie or something?" You ask Eddie awkwardly. "Yea, sure, why not?" You go find a movie and you put it on and play it and then you go sit next to him on the couch. "A scary movie huh?" You laugh. "Yea Halloween is a favorite of mine." He laughs and moves closer to you, making you blush. About 30 minutes into the movie, you look over at Eddie and notice him staring at you. "Are you ok?" You ask him as you giggle. "Oh shit yea I'm good, sorry." He looks away as his face turns light red. "You looked like you were wanting to ask me something." You smile and laugh. "Well....ok yea I do have a question actually." He covers his face and sighs. "So, what's your question?" His face turns red as he looks at you. "So.....are you like....single?" You choke a little bit in shock and your face turns red. "Yes!" You answer without hesitation. He looks at you shocked and smiles. "Really now?" You nod your head and smile at him. "Well what do you say, I take you to a restaurant tomorrow at 8pm?" You blush and smile widely. "I would love that." After that you hear a car pull up and the front door opens. "Hey sorry I took so long but I'm home now." He sees you and eddie. "Isn't that one of Dustin's friends?" "Yes, this is Eddie Munson, and well....since you weren't able to pick me up he offered to drive me home, and since I don't like being alone I asked him to stay till you got here." He looks at you with a concerned look. "Um.... Well ok, I guess that's fine." Eddie gets up and looks at you. "Well, I guess I'll be on my way then." You stand up. "I'll walk you to your car." You and Eddie walk outside and you walk him to the driver's side of his car. "So, I'll see you at school tomorrow, and then later at 8?" You look down and smile. "Yea, definitely!" He gives you a hug before leaving, it's warm and nice, and he smells good, you hear his heart beating fast while you hug him. "See you tomorrow." You smile and wave. "Bye Eddie." You go back inside and Steve looks at you with a concerned look again. "I'm going to bed now Steve, good night." You start to go upstairs but then you stop. "Oh and by the way! I'm going on a date with Eddie tomorrow at 8pm!" You go to your room and go to bed, excited for tomorrow.
