A voice growled and its feet squelched on the floor as it walked towards you, in the dark of your school gym. You were shocked more than terrified, as you would get your answers to your constant headaches and nightmares. You were kind of scared too as if this was the way you were going to die. In the one place you hate. Like hate so much you would not want to die in the school fucking gym.
"Y/n," a deep raspy voice called you, making you squint harder into the dark and seeing a tall figure making its way towards you. You felt the sensation that you read somewhere was 'The Uncanny Valley.' Your skin crawled within your body and you felt really uneasy, your stomach forming into a bottomless pit and 10-foot wasps just parkouring in it. "Yeah? W-Who is this?" you managed to squeak out.
"I am your friend, y/n, something you have never had," the voice snarled.
"I don't have a boyfriend either, wish you could be that," you said out loud.
"You can't hide from me, y/n, hmmm,"
"I am not the one who's hiding you son of a bitch, show me your face,"
A snake got thrown towards you, by the voice, you assumed.
"EWWWWWW!!!!!!" you screamed. "SHOW ME YOUR FUCKING FACE YOU FUCKING COWARD, KILL YOURSELF IF YOU'RE CHICKENSHIT ENOUGH TO SHOW ME YOUR FACE,"
The voice was now coming near you and you could see the creature it was coming from, a snake man, like for real a snake man, a man whose whole body was covered in snakes or made of snakes. "You are alone, y/n, all alone in this world with no one to be your friend, your mom and dad hate you, you y/n, are all alone,"
"Dude, are you like really saying this? I already know all this? Tell me something else? I say this to myself every day I wake up. I don't think this is doing what you think it's doing,"
"Stop talking before you regret what you're saying,"
"Who are you? And what is this FILTHY place? Don't you have a fucking broom or something? And what are all these snakes doing here? This is honestly so much worse than any depressed person's house I've been to. Get yourself together, also tell me your name, bitch," you folded your arms.
"This is the gym, y/n, something that you hate,"
"I will not be paying attention to you until you introduce yourself, like a proper," you looked at his slithering face, "- like a proper snake man,"
"I am Henry, Henry Creel," the voice sighed.
You smiled, but composed yourself quickly so Henry wouldn't see it, "See now, was that so hard? Now why does that name sound so familiar. Creel. Were you in the papers or something? I swear I've heard it before,"
"It's a long story," Henry warned y/n.
"It's not like I can get out of here by my own free will,"
--
You and Henry were seated on the bleachers, his snake friends gliding around and on him at sometimes, you had barely gotten used to it. "Damn, that's...something," you said, attempting to place your hand on his shoulder.
"You can touch me, I don't mind," Henry said.
"No, I'm just scared your little snake friends and their goo would give me rabies or something," you chuckled, Henry joining you.
"You're funny, y/n," Henry said, nudging your knee with his, your denim getting in contact with his bare flesh, but weirdly it didn't leave any snake goo. You tapped his shoulder and smiled a bit.
"Very brave of you,"
"Oh, shut up, this is just because of your sad story and that old man, who did you say he was?"
"Papa,"
"Yeah, a real creepy man, he did this to you?" you asked.
"Promise me if I tell you this, you won't laugh," Henry turned towards you.
"Okay," you took a deep breath.
Henry mumbled something.
"What? I didn't hear,"
"a little girl,"
"What?"
"Damnit, Y/N, A LITTLE GIRL. A LITTLE GIRL DID THIS," Henry shrieked.
"I HEARD YOU THE SECOND TIME YOU BASTARD I WAS JUST IN SHOCK," you shouted back.
"Oh,"
"I mean, it is pretty laughable, but I won't, because I made a promise," you said, holding back laughter.
"You better not laugh, y/n, please, I've repented it long enough,"
