Temporary Puppy

Chapter 1

Shoto POV:

My eyes fluttered open as light shined through my curtains and into my room. I slowly got out of bed and made my way over to the bathroom. I was taking my pants off when I felt something fluffy touch my hand. I looked into the mirror and I wanted to scream. I have a tail! A dog tail. If I have a tail it would only make sense I have some ears as well right?

My eyes slowly drift upwards towards the top of my head. I spotted some fluffy ears that are the same color as my hair. I was just standing in front of my mirror. I reach my hand up to touch them. I flinched at how sensitive they were. I continued to touch them as I quietly moaned. I then finally take a shower. I walked out of my bathroom and into the kitchen to make breakfast. It was kinda late to be eating breakfast but I still did it anyway.

I spent that entire day in my house. I had plans to hang out with some friends but canceled at the last minute because of my current situation. I didn't have anything to do all day, my entire schedule was cleared so I just sat down on my couch and watched some tv. That's when my phone vibrated. I checked my notifications and it was from discord. Vox had messaged me. He was just basically asking if I wanted to do an in person collab. I said sure then we discussed who would fly there. By this point I had completely forgotten about the ears and tail. Had I been smarter about this I would have said no.

Now there was one problem at hand... how would I hide these ears and tail?

The only way I could think of hiding the ears was a hat. I could easily wrap my tail around my torso under my shirt. So now that those problems were resolved I had to start booking plane tickets. I turned off the tv and headed towards my room so I could book those tickets. After I booked the tickets I started packing. I still had like 2 weeks but it's not like I'm going anywhere for the next 2 weeks. After a few hours of packing then going on my phone then back to packing I finally finished. I made dinner then went back to my room and laid down on my bed. I was thinking about 2 weeks from now when I would be staying with Vox. What kind of collab would we be doing? Where would I sleep? Would I sleep in his bed with him or does he have a guest bedroom? There were so many questions I had but I didn't want to ask him.

I stayed on my phone until 1 am doing god knows what. I then finally went to sleep hoping that the ears were just a dream and that the tail was just a dream too.
I was wrong. When I woke up at 9:30 am I ran my hand through my hair and I flinched still being able to feel the ears that had shown up on my head the previous day. I noticed that my tail was wrapped around my waist. knowing how sensitive the tail was I carefully grabbed it and unwrapped it. As soon as I had unwrapped my tail I began shaking it around. This was definitely real.
"Oh my goodness" I whispered before pulling myself up. Now I was fully awake. I quickly hopped out of bed and rushed to the closet. I rummaged around looking for clothes.

When I had finally found some to wear I went to the kitchen. I made breakfast and sat down. Today is going to be weird. It was a very unproductive day. I knew that this was how I would be spending my next 2 weeks. I guess I could have gone out with a hat but I really didn't feel like it. It would be such a hassle to try and and find a hat so I stayed home for the longest time I had ever stayed home without leaving.

Finally the night before I would be able to see Vox came. Me and Vox had agreed that he would pick me up and we would head directly to his house. which I was kinda glad about. I couldn't sleep. It was practically impossible for me to sleep. I had too many questions plus the stress as to how I would hide these problems of mine. The flight was at 8AM so I would have to be there around 6AM so I could get through baggage and security. I had finally managed to fall asleep. I woke up the next morning and went to the airport.

I was so nervous. I haven't flown by myself since I was little. Even though the airport has become more crowded since I have started going there I still can't help but feel scared. My heart rate increases with every step I take. Once we land I will see Vox. That thought alone is enough to calm my nerves. I knew the flight would be long so I planned to get some sleep in on the flight. It would be a couple of hours that I would get to sleep. Unfortunately for me I just wasn't comfortable the entire plane ride. The tail was getting in the way of my comfort. Everytime I closed my eyes I would hear the tail swish. I tried to convince myself that it was all in my head but it just wasn't possible. It's not like I had any other reason to be scared than I'm afraid he'll see my tail.
Finally we arrived at the airport and I immediately did all the necessary things I would have to do in order to finally leave this airport.

I messaged Vox and told him I was waiting for him. He told me that he was almost there so I stood there and waited for him. After what felt like an eternity he finally got here. I didn't notice at first because I was scrolling through my Twitter feed. Only when Vox had called out to me did I notice that he was there.

I ran up to him to hug him. I could feel my tail gently wag under my shirt as We stood there. I could feel Voxs hands moving further down my back almost reaching my waist, where I had my tail. I stepped away before he could actually reach it. "Can we go now?" I asked.

"Sure. Let's go."

The first chapter is done. I need help naming the story. To whom is reading this I will try to post weekly but that is all. Goodbye for now but not forever!
