Author's note: This is a SCRAPPED story, and in such NOT FINISHED, that started back when I was writing 'Trust Fall' in 2022, I wrote a little bit after its end, but I ended up not touching it for a long time. The first part with Sakuya and Meiling is really badly written, you can tell it was the same time as 'TF'.

I don't have any real wants to continue it as it consequence on everything is very minute, and that I forgot what was the ending point of it (both the final scene and its purpose/meaning), but I feel a bit bad as they were a few bits here and there that I quite enjoy. So I thought I should at least make it public, I'm sure some could get something out of it.

Perhaps later on I'll do a proper rewrite of this one. But really seems unlikely.

This was supposed to be a parallel story, taking place in the same continuity and canonicity as 'TF' and the other stories. It was like a bit like fluff story that could be inside of one, but without my characters and in such in the canon of the bounds of timeline I'm writing. You'll see what I mean when you read it.

Hope you... give it a look. It's the best I can hope for.

~~ Scarlet Devil Mansion. Before Sunrise. Spring, 2019. ~~

--- Sakuya's PoV ---

Mistress Remilia allowed Mistress Flandre to go out for the day, as a reward for having behaved well for more than a month. Mistress Flandre decided to spend the day fishing, from what I understood Meiling was the one that gave her the idea. As a matter of fact, Meiling will be the one to teach her.

I'll also take part in this fishing trip, Mistress Remilia told me to watch over them, 'In case Flandre throws one of her usual tantrum' as she put it, as well as to ensure her safety. I, of course, had no objections to the task. However, the idea of being away from Mistress Remilia never appealed to me. Even if I knew she was safe, I could never shake the feeling that she was in danger.

As Meiling was in a way the organizer of this outing, I asked her how the day should be organized. She told she'll be taking care about the materials needed, she just needed Mistress Flandre and I to be awake before sunrise.

I was in front of Mistress Flandre's bedroom, I gently knocked on it. I heard no response, other then little snoring noises coming from inside the room. I quietly opened the door, and tip-toed to her bed, unsurprising she was peacefully sleeping on her side. I smiled and gently nudged her. "Mistress. Mistress, wake up." I whispered in her ears.

Mistress Flandre: "Mmh... why..." She mumbled.

"We're going fishing today, remember? Unless you want to cancel the trip..."

Mistress Flandre: "Heh!" Her eyes shot wide open, before sitting up in her bed. "No no no! I want to go!" I chuckled, as I patted her hair.

"Very well, as you wish." I stuck out my hand to her. "Let me help you get dressed, Mistress." She reluctantly took my hand. I guided her out of bed before helping her prepare for the day.

Mistress Flandre and I came out of the mansion, I held her hand as she held an umbrella in the other. As the temperature was quite cold this early, I gave Mistress a scarf and a pair of gloves so she won't catch a cold. We were halfway to the gate, where Meiling waited for us, as rain began to pour down above the mansion's ground.
