Gon lifted her up to her feet, stepping away from everyone.

"You will not come near the detective ever again."

Alluka nodded, stepping back and jumping off the roof.

"Gon..."

He turned to Killua,

"Are you okay?"

"What the hell...it let the deviant go?"

"It disobeyed!"

"Whats wrong with it?"

"Look at the LED."

"Its gone deviant. Just like the other one."

Gon panicked.

Killua came up to him, hand on his arm, hazel locking with ocean blue.

"Its okay. You're okay." He reassured.

"Detective Zoldyck! Get away from the deviant!" They all aimed their guns at Gon.

Killua stepped in front of him.

"No. He's my friend."

Killua friend ⏫️

"But- but detective–"

Killua turned to Gon, hands on his shoulders. "You need to go."

"They'll kill you if you stay. Please. Please go."

Gon put his hand on Killuas cheek, thumb rubbing soothing circles.

"I understand." Killuas eyes widened.

"Goodbye, Detective."

His eyes watered, watching the retreating silhouette.

"We need any information you can give us about your FK800, Detective." Bisky said, she knew Killua knew something.

"We need to locate it before it causes any harm."

Killua glared at her. "There's nothing wrong with him. He would never hurt anyone." Bisky sighed, crossing her arms.

"Listen, Detec–Killua. Deviants can't control their behaviour. They don't think rationally. They're just malfunctioning hardware."

"They aren't alive."

"He's—" Killua hesitated. "He's a person." He opened his eyes, looking up at Bisky. "Hes a good person."

"I'm granting you a leave of absence, Detective. I'm concerned for your psychological health, given your history with deviant andriods."

//2 months later//

Lights out in Killuas apartment. The only light coming from the news on the TV long forgotten by the man laying on his couch like a corpse. Empty bottles of wine and Vodka littered his table and counters. Dirty dishes racking up in the sink. Candy wrappers all over the floor, clothes drapped over the couch and chairs. Pants on the floor. Half eaten pizza boxes, old juice boxes. The whole nine yards.
