Batter: you don't mind if I ask you something?

Y/N: sure

Batter: how do you and Zacharie know each other?

Y/N: (blinks) .... I honestly didn't expect him to remember me . But then again he has fourth wall awareness so I am not surprised about it .

That seems to make me abit confused about it and I am pretty sure that merchant won't tell me unless I pay him .

Y/N: do you know about reset ?

Batter: you mean the fact of how many times you came here ?

Y/N: so you do remember

Batter: not really I can only tell how many times you have visited our world

Y/N: ah I see

Batter: you seem to comfortable around him

Y/N: (chuckle) well he is pretty chill guy so it's easy to get along

Batter: (mumble) what about me ?

Y/N: (blinks) huh

They looked away as if they are trying to find the right word to say it .

Y/N: well Batter your honestly a strong and trustworthy friend of mine . It's abit hard to tell what you are thinking considering the fact you always have a stoic expression , I well I just don't know much about you. Well sure that can be said the same about zacharie but he is just um predictable

Batter: (raised a eyebrow) predictable?

Y/N: I can tell he is a easygoing guy who loves puns . He is greedy but he won't lie to you about it. He seems to have some secret which seems abit sensitive topic

As they explain it I am starting to feel abit impressed that they can tell what kind of person someone is only by interacting with them . And also the fact they don't know much about me which is true since I never told them about it

Batter: I see well player I won't mind if you were comfortable with me like your with Zacharie

Y/N: (chuckle) I am not uncomfortable around you despite you giving the cold stoic look. I know you won't hurt me so I trust you my friend

Batter: (feels proud)

Y/N: that doesn't change the fact I don't you that well so I hope I will soon

Batter: yea

Y/N: now if you don't mind I am gonna take a nap . Wake me up when we reached our stop

They put their head down on my shoulder and falls asleep quickly. They trust me so much that they are willing to let their gaurd down around me . I suppose I shouldn't worry about it too much. Only thing I need to worry about is there safety, now that I know they aren't omnipotent anymore and the Spector can see them . They might get hurt and I am not sure if the items of our world will work on them . Maybe I should let Alpha gaurd them during battle. It's abit odd to see my puppeteer like this , normally I can only feel their presence and hear their voice but now they are actually with me I want to know them better and hopefully we can strengthen our trust .

Narrator pov

As they arrive at alma batter gently shakes them wakes up . Well gently as he can be , he isn't sure how much force he is using

Y/N: ok ok I am awake stop shaking

Batter: (stops And gets up) we are here

Y/N: (gets up and stretch abit) ok let's go then
