I mean the dude was hot, the rest of the internet and the three billion Jay edits, Jungwon had watched on his private Tiktok proved that the dude was a fine specimen. The dark hair that fell past his eyebrows, his sharp jawline that made everyone else's inferior, and not to mention the insane amount of charisma he possessed.

The way he knew every little thing about his members, the way he would give up what he wanted just to see someone else smile, the way he could charm anyone in a matter of seconds and the way he looked right now, his lips pouted as the makeup artist used her finger to apply lip balm. The makeup artist struggled to contain her laughter, seeing his funny expression and giving in, as Jay broke out into laughter, bowing a quick "Thank you" before getting up and leaving his seat.

Jungwon tried to ignore the unpleasant feeling growing in his stomach, he had thought that the ache had come from nerves alone but it seemed like that the interaction he had just witnessed seemed to irritate it more. Maybe that kiss really was an accident, Jay was charming with everyone not just him, that interaction alone showed just how easily he could make someone weak in the knees. What had happened one week ago should just be forgotten.

Jay turned his gaze away from his reflection in the mirror to Jungwon who quickly looked down, trying to play it off as though he had not just been staring at Jay this entire time. Jungwon pretended to fix up his hair in his own mirror, avoiding the reflection of the undeniably handsome boy who had walked over to his chair.

"Jungwon, could I talk to you outside for a bit" Jay announced, his hands in his pockets, sharing the first direct sentence he had spoken to Jungwon in the last 7 days. Jungwon was annoyed. How do you go from spending every minute together to succumbing to such a childish act of ignoring?

Mumbling a nonchalant "Hmm, yes", Jungwon got up and followed Jay to the door. He was mad at the older boy, but he couldn't deny just how good he looked at that given moment. He just wished whatever had happened between them could just be resolved and they could go back to their childish banters and exchange of friendly physical gestures. Jungwon wasn't a fan of strong perfumes as they made him feel dizzy but he couldn't deny just much he had missed this particular scent, realising just how much he missed being enveloped in Jay's arms.

Jay looked back at him and asked him to go into the caretaker room opposite the hallway.

"Why did you call me into this cramped space, our makeup and outfits are going to get ruined"

"I was looking for a private place so we could talk, and you have been avoiding me all day, so I felt guilty asking you to come with me earlier"

Jay had closed the door now, the two talls boy were basically pressed against each other, with a dim light illuminating the cramped space that was surrounded by tall shelves.

"Okay, tell me what you wanted to tell me, we have to get back to the dressing room to do a rehearsal " Jungwon said as leaned back attempting to create the tiniest amount of space between them.

"You look really good today" Jay says looking Jungwon in the eyes with a soft smile. Attempting to shift the sombre tone that Jungwon had spoken to him with. Despite the fact that his heart was racing with that comment, and that Jungwon was someone who often wore a smile on his face, he remained expressionless. Jungwon was unbelievably hurt by Jay's childish shenanigans and wasn't in the mood to deal with meaningless compliments that stalled him from revealing the reason as to why Jay had pulled him into the closet.

"I'm sorry, about last Friday, I don't know what came over me, I shouldn't have violated your personal space like that and I'm so sorry for making you so damn uncomfortable, and I totally understand if you don't want to talk to me anymore, and I'm sorry for not apologising I just wanted one last normal week before you didn't wanna talk to me anymore" Jay was rambling at this point and Jungwon had brought his hand to his mouth to stop him from going any further.
