HEY SO ORIGINALLY THIS WAS MEANT TO BE A 5 PART FANFIC OF EXPLORING INAZUMA WITH GOROU BUT I DECIDED TO GIVE UP AFTER HOW BAD THIS PART CAME OUT SO UM YEAH IG ENJOY THE UNFINISHED STORY!

You finish your last bite of Almond Tofu, thanking Sara for such a delicious meal. Today is your birthday! Rather than leaving your table, you sit, wondering how you'll spend your day. Maybe you can play games with Itto, or maybe watch some fireworks with Yomiya. Venti and Zhongli must be busy, and the Raiden Shogun doesn't particularly like you. What about Kokomi! You're sure she'd love some company, that would be, if she wasn't busy with battle tactics. Everyone seems to be busy with their own things. Has anyone even remembered your birthday? Aside from Sara, who gifted you a wonderful serving of Almond Tofu. Of course Paimon remembered, she gave you a hand written letter which, admittedly, was adorable. You sit and think to yourself, who could be free today?

General Gorou! He might be free today, the resistance doesn't have training on Mondays or Tuesdays. What was today again... Tuesday! You hurriedly return your plate to Sara and thank her once again. I wonder if he remembered? You approach the near-by waypoint, placing your hand on the warm steel. closing your eyes, you whisper.

You open your eyes, surrounded by gushing waterfalls, looking at the far-away Sangonomiya Shrine. You hear a familiar voice and decide to go look through Bourou Village to see if it's from there. You spot Gorou in the the distance who appears to be lost in thought. "HEYYYYY!" You yell out, which sends Gorou looking around panickily before he spots you. "Hello!" He yells back, though much quieter than you were.

You approach him, he seems very pleased to see you! "Hey Minh!" He says, attempting to stop his tail from wagging. "Hello, General Gorou." You reply nearly immediately. "Oh no, just Gorou is fine!" He says slightly flustered. "Since today you don't have practice, would you like to spend today with me?" You ask, hardly containing your excitement. "What brought this so suddenly?" Gorou asks, slightly confused but flattered. "Ah, I'd figure you wouldn't remember. Today's my birthday." You say, slightly disappointed. "Oh," He says, clearly embarrassed. "I'm sorry. I was trying to write you a letter but then there was a butterfly and-" He says before seeing your feeble attempt to restrain a laugh. He smiles, clearly understanding of it's humor and lets out a giggle. "Yes, I'd be honored to accompany you today." Gorou says, smiling heartily at you.

"Great!" You say. You both make your ways back to the waypoint, Gorou awkwardly following along. You notice he's nervously twirling his thumbs, but choose not to point out. "Alright we're here." You say, turning to him. He looks up nervously at the waypoint, a face of curiosity forms on him. "Fascinating... I've never used one of these, how do they work?" He looks at you, expecting an answer. "Have seriously you never used one?" You ask him, shocked. "Yeah..." He says, shamefully. His face flushed tomato red. "Oh it's nothing to be ashamed of, just regarding the fact most people use them, I thought you would too!" You tell him, guilt drowning you as you see his face remain still. "Oh, okay." Gorou says. "-Anyways How does this work now?" He looks at you, the same still expression on his face. "Well- just grab my hand I'll do it myself." You say, reaching your hand out. "Oh- really?" He seems flustered but reluctantly grabs your hand, blushing.
