It's faith (Hailee/You)

Chapter 1

It was 2 weeks since Hailee's class got some reputation for winning a competition. She was proud of it. Then her school decided to have annual function.

The class teacher announced that they will have zero period after lunch break. Good thing because she didn't had any free period that day, for her this was her lucky day. The day went by slowly. Two periods were over it was time for fruit break. Patrick came to stand beside her.

"You look tired already" He joked to which Hailee responded by rolling her eyes wishing this day better be over.

"Yeah because I missed my breakfast" Which wasn't a lie because she woke up late. Her mom told her to eat something but she was getting very late for school. "And the day looks like it's not getting over"

He patted her back "I understand" He always thought of her as his sister. Griffin was his best friend so his sister is his sister too. "It will get better when we will have zero period"

The class teacher of other section came in asking for who will participate in what for the function. Hailee looked towards Patrick and asked "What are you gonna take?"

He thought for a second "Dance is not made for me. I can take the make up department but then again you don't know how to. Singing? I sing like a dying cat while it's perfect for you but I won't be there. Let's take acting because it will be in group"

After hearing the whole thing she shouted. "HAILEE AND GRIFFIN ACTING"

The teacher wrote their names. Once she was done writing she called out everyone's name to check if anyone was missed out "Okay dance students go to dance room, singing students to the multipurpose hall and drama students to the class beside you. And drama students take a copy and pen with you" She got up from her sit as she was done and went away.

After two more periods finally lunch period arrived. Hailee and Patrick made their way to Cafeteria. They were met by their other two friends. "Nice gathering" Alexis said.

"I am really tired. Please you guys go on I will hear" Anna sighed and put her head down. She was not feeling to do anything.

Hailee knew Anna took singing so she didn't ask her "Alexis what are you gonna do in the function?"

"Me I am not doing anything I am going to stay in bed that day" That was totally what three of them expected.

The bell rang announcing it's zero period. "That's our cue guys. See you all later" Patrick said as he and Hailee went on their way.

They went to their neighbouring class. As they entered, they saw students from different class were there too. Hailee found a empty chair for herself. When she remembered about Patrick she stood up and gave the sit to him. "Thank you"

"Uh no there is no thank you and sorry between friends" She said with a smile. She looked around for a second until she realised a girl was standing behind her. Her height was small she assumed the girl to be her junior. She was new too.

"Good afternoon students" The teacher said as he entered the room "Today we will be not be doing any physical thing. We will only be discussing. I want the boys to sit on the ground and the girls please take the chair" Patrick got up from his place and Hailee took it. She saw the girl was still standing there.

"Hey, wanna share?" The girl nodded. She made some space for the girl and both of them sat together.

"Students open you copies. Those who brought it write and those who did not just sit"

Hailee forgot to bring a copy with her though she brought her pen. The girl with whom she was sharing her seat had a copy but no pen. Hailee gave her pen to her. The girl thanked her. She didn't say anything after that.

They were finished discussing how many scene will be there. "Hey, your pen" The girl gave the pen back to the owner. "Thanks again. I am going to washroom. Can you please take care of my copy?" Hailee nodded.

As the girl was out of her sight the bell rang. She couldn't leave the copy there so she took it with her. She saw Patrick. "You okay?"

"Yup. I guess the sir is still single" Hailee couldn't help but laugh when he said it. "Whose copy?" He pointed towards the copy on Hailee's hand.

"It's a girl's who was sitting with me. I will find her and give it to her" She felt someone tapping her shoulder. She turned around to see the girl again "Oh take this" She handed her the copy. The girl took it and went out of the room.

Something didn't settle Hailee's heart, she went out to search for her but it was too crowdy. She shook her head and went to Patrick.

The day ended. "Bye Patrick"

"Bye Haiz" They hugged each other.

Griffin was already waiting for Hailee by the car. Patrick rush to tackle him for a hug too. "I missed you too buddy"

They were inseparable best friends when Griffin was in school. He graduated before them. Hailee and Patrick still had two sessions more.

Hailee opened car door and went inside. After Griffin and Patrick were done with their hug fight they said each other 'bye'. Griffin went inside the car. "So, how was the day? Anyone bullied you?"

"It was great. Nobody bullied me and we are going to have an annual function" He started the car and driving it.

"Annual function hmmmm. What are you doing anyway?" He asked her.

"Acting because that's the thing me and Patrick can do" Griffin shrugged and went on to put up some music. Hailee didn't like it so she changed it to her favourite song. Both of them kept on messing with the radio until they reached home.

Hailee opened the house's door. Griffin parked the car in the garage. "My kids are home" Peter said as he saw them.

"Hi dad"

"Hi sweetie"

"Hey mom"

"Hailee better eat something. Get fresh quickly" Cheri said. She hurried towards Hailee and grabbed her bag.

Hailee went inside her room. "Okay mom" she replied before closing the door. She went to take a shower.

Once she was done with her shower she opened her room's door and went out. She was really hungry. She found out her mom made cheese burger for her. It was her favourite. "Oh my god. Thank you so much" Cheri smiled at her.

As the day came to an end she was on her bed thinking about the whole day. Her phone was right beside her. Her eyes were becoming heavy and after sometimes she was sleeping. She saw the girl she met today. She opened her eyes. Her mind didn't understand a thing. Everything was silenced around her as she started thinking about the girl again. She sighed and went back to sleep.
