doja smiled at the nickname before turning her phone off and walking back on set, they were shooting the last scene
the scene took maybe almost 2 hours but it was worth it when doja was sent the directors cut, she was so proud of how the video turned out. it was exactly how she pictured it in her head
doja was pulled out of her thoughts when her uber pulled up to her house, she got out of the car thanking her driver before walking to her door and unlocking it, she walked in before closing and locking it back
she ran upstairs to hop in the shower and wash the green off, which took her 45 minutes. when she was finally done she got out and walked into her room, she went to her closet and grabbed a graphic tee ski had left at her house, some black shorts and her af1's before grabbing a savagexfenty set that she had been meaning to wear
she began applying lotion before she got dressed, then once she was dressed she applied her favorite perfumes. she walked over to her vanity and began to remove the red wig from the shoot
she then began applying a different wig, it was a 32 inch jet black middle part bussdown. this took her about 30 more minutes, after she finished laying the edges she tied the down as she did her makeup
she did it very light, a no foundation no makeup look. she did her base before applying big lashes and lining her lips with a brown liner before using a nude to blend it, topping it off with her fenty glossbomb lipgloss
she put the lipgloss in her bra and grabbed her phone and keys, she didn't feel like bringing a purse
doja went downstairs and ski texted her telling her to come out, she walked out her front door and locked the bottom locked before closing it and walking over to his car
she got in and they shared a quick kiss before he pulled off, they decided to go a place called "sugarfish"
the place was kinda far so the doja hooked her phone to the aux and shuffled on a random playlist, never knew by sza began playing and doja hummed to it lightly
ski put his hand on doja's thigh and she smiled internally, the two sat in a comfortable silence. neither of them really had anything to say at the moment so they just enjoyed each other's company without saying anything
that was until ski wanted to tell her about how sin city was dropping on friday, he looked at her "oh ma i forgot to tell you, my project drops on friday" he said and she smiled at him "oh my god, that's so cool! the need to know video drops friday too! it's like a sign from the universe that we were meant to be" she replies making them both laugh
after that the two continued their comfortable silence for the rest of the drive. after about 35 minutes they arrived at sugarfish, ski parked before getting out and going over to dojas side
he opened her door and grabbed her hand, helping her get out. he shut the door once she was out and she wrapped her arm around his leaning into him as they walked into the restuarant
ski told the hostess they had a reservation and they were seated, doja looked around. some of the walls were made of aquariums, the ceiling tiles were a dark marble and so were the floors. it the tables had candles for lights and it just had this overall chill vibe
doja looked down at ski and smiled "i like the vibe of this place, its so cute" she told him and he chuckled "you're cute" he replied and she blushed "stopp" she said jokingly
a waitress soon came over and to take their order, doja got the dragon roll and strawberry boba while ski got a volcano roll and a ramune soda. the waitress wrote it down before walking away
ski looked back at doja "so how was the shoot?" he asked her and she shrugged "it went pretty well, was kinda long tho. it ran way longer than we thought it would" she explained and he nodded "i hate when that shit happens, especially when you got other shit to do after that" he replied and she nodded her head agreeing "i swear, like i don't got all day. i'm fucking doja cat i got shit to do" she said to him making him laugh a bit
"yea exactly" he told her just as their food came, the waitress sets it down before leaving them again
doja begins eating while ski pops the ball in his drink before eating, the two eat their sushi and talk about whatever random thing comes to their mind
