Part 12: One year older

-Gru: I already want to hold him in my arms.

- Lucy: Only 3 months left..

- Gru: Time will pass quickly.  -He said after kissing her belly.  -

- Lucy: You're going to look so cute..

-Gru: He will look as cute as his mother.  - He commented before approaching Lucy to place a sweet kiss on her lips.  -

-Lucy: And he will be as charming as his father.  - Touches the tip of Gru's nose.-

- Gru: Well... what name can we give him?  -He said after settling down next to Lucy, putting her hands and hers on the redhead's belly.  -

- Lucy: You know I'm terrible with names?

- Gru: And why would you be?-   He said arching an eyebrow as he laughed.  -

- Lucy: I named a hamster that I had as a child "Furball."  - She said between laughs.  -

Gru: It's not that bad.

Lucy: Well...

- Gru: Tell me names you can think of for him.  Let's see.

- Lucy: Hmmm... Michael?... Benjamin...?... Logan... Anthony...

Gru: They're not that bad...

- Lucy: But the ones that occur to me are that I don't like them.

~ After the kiss, Gru got up and holding Lucy's hand led her to the baby's room.  ~

- Lucy: Oh, what are we doing here?

- Gru: Just check that everything is ok.  -He said grabbing the teddy bear they won at the amusement park.  -

- Lucy: Imagine when Lucas is here... Waking up every night, running around...

- Gru: Let's handle it well.  You will see.

- Lucy: Well... would you bring me a bowl of vanilla ice cream?

- Gru: Lucy... it's 12 at night...

- Lucy: I feel like it..

~Gru takes Lucy to the kitchen table and gets out the ice cream.  ~

- Gru: Take my queen, vanilla as you wanted.

- Lucy: Would you also bring me some cherries... please...

- Gru: But... if you never liked them...

- Lucy: They will be delicious with the ice cream!  -She said before swallowing a spoonful of it.-

- Gru: Here... I'll also eat a glass of ice cream with you.

~ The couple stays eating ice cream and cherries while talking about random things.  When they saw that it was already late, they went to the room.  ~

- Lucy: Hey honey, look at this.  -She says grabbing something from the drawer in the room.  -

Gru: What is it?

- Lucy: Look... - She said showing her the positive pregnancy test.  -

-Gru: Oh .. You still keep it ..- He commented as he grabbed it and stared at it.  -

- Lucy: Sure, sweetie..

- Gru: You know... It's the best gift you could give me.

-Lucy: It wouldn't be possible without you...-She said as she lay down and looked at the ceiling.  -

- Gru: This is the true meaning of Grucy.  -He said doing the same and leaving the test on his bedside table.-

- Lucy: I love you so much. - She said between tears.  -

Gru: Oh, why are you crying darling?  I love you too.  - He covered Lucy with his arms and pulled her into him.

- Lucy: I don't know, Is like...

- Gru: Shh, I know, you're sensitive.  Let me heal you.  -He said before starting to give kisses in Lucy's face.  -

- Lucy: Heyy Honey Bear, stop!  - She tried to say between laughter and tears.  -

Gru: I'll give the last one to Lucas. - He got down and kissed Lucy's belly.  -

- Lucy: Come on, let's go to sleep now. -She said with a smile as she turned off the lights.

- Gru: Good night darling.  Thank you for this beautiful day.

- Lucy: Thanks to you, my love.  Rest.

~ The redhead kissed Gru's forehead goodnight and fell asleep.  ~
