"Isabella!"
I groaned and roll over looking at the clock on my nightstand. 7:30! Dang it! I'm going to be late.
"Isabella! If you don't wake up now I'm getting your brother to poor ice cold water on you," my mom called from downstairs.
"NO! I'm up, I swear," I yell back, jumping out of my bed.
Great.
It was the first day of my Junior year and I was going to be late.
I took a 10 minute shower and brushed my teeth. I got dressed in a pair of ripped denim jeans and a 'Rolling Stones' t-shirt. I put on eyeliner and mascara.
There was a knock on my door. "Lord, please let it be safe to come in!" I didn't even get a chance to answer and the door flung open, revealing my twin brother. He was wearing a grey hoodie with a pair of denim jeans and a pair of Nike Air Forces. His brown hair was wet, indicating he had just gotten out of the shower.
We had all the same features, except one. We both had brown hair and hazel eyes with a little bit of green. I had freckles and he didn't.
"You better hurry up if you feel like eating this morning," he warned. Then turned around and walked out. I got up and slipped on my black Converse. I put my hair in a messy bun and ran downstairs.
"Have a good first day of school, sweetie," my mom said, handing me an apple. I thanked her and kissed her on her cheek walking out the front door.
I got in the passenger seat of my brother's midnight blue Dodge Charger. He pulled out of the driveway.
"What, no partner-in-crime today, Ian," I asked, taking a bite out of my apple.
"Oh, you weren't getting your hopes up on seeing him, were you, Izzy," he questioned me raising his eyebrows.
I fake gagged. "Gross! No I don't want to see him," me and my brother laughed together.
Usually my brother takes his best friend, Carter, and I to school.
"Seriously though, where is he," I asked. We pulled into a parking spot and my brother put the car in park. We sat there for a minute.
"He had to take his sister to her first day of school," he paused. "His mom had to go into work really early. Plus his sister practically begged him to take her."
I nodded in understanding. Carter, Ian, and I have been friends since we started middle school. Carter has a little sister who's in seventh grade. She's really sweet and I love her to pieces. She is exactly like the sister I never had.
"Crap. I forgot my bag," I say, mentally face palming myself. Ian reached into the backseat and pulled out both of our bags.
"This is why you have me," he smirked at me. I took my bag and got out. Ian doing the same.
"Oh, yes, what would I do without my favorite sibling," I say sarcastically.
Ian pointed to an old-school Chevy. "See Carter's here. He beat us," he said walking to the Chevy. Inside the Chevy was Carter and - surprise, surprise - a blonde that he was making out with. Ian banged on the driver side window making Carter and Blondie pull back and jump in surprise.
Carter looked a hot mess. Minus the hot. His hair was everywhere and there was lipstick on and around his lips. He smirked then said something to Blondie.
