The filming place was already freezing in itself.

The moment Jinyoung entered the set, the cold air immediately greeted him back. A shiver runs down his spine uncomfortably as he pulls his jacket closer, eyes scanning his surroundings.

He was already feeling a bit on edge, knowing he'll have to be underwater for a scene, so seeing the set with his own eyes certainly didn't help the growing nervousness at the back of his head. The place was covered in black wallpaper, and the dim lighting did nothing to coax his uneasiness. Everywhere, the staff were preparing everything and adding finishing touches to make sure the filming would be smooth.

In the middle of the room sat the tank that Jinyoung's been trying to avoid the entire time. It was already filled with water, and the cold atmosphere had him wishing that the water would be at least a little bit warm. The unmistakable feeling of dread comes seeping through the corners of his mind, sitting and staying there until it's rooted and stuck in one place.

God, he wants to go home already.

"It'll be quick, don't worry too much."

Jinyoung turns to Jaebeom with a helpless expression. "Do I really have to do this?" He says, although it sounded more like a whine to his ears. "And isn't there another scene with all of us in the water?"

Jaebeom just chuckles, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Seriously, Nyoung, I'm sure it'll be quick. Just tell any one of us if the water's too cold and you need to take a break, okay?"

The other just pouts and nods slowly. Jaebeom laughs, reaching a hand out to ruffle the younger's hair.

"All right, guys! Let's begin." The director calls from the other side of the room, and Jinyoung takes a steadying breath. Beside him, Jaebeom gives a reassuring smile. Jinyoung nods, albeit hesitantly, and steps forward.

It'll be quick.

All his hopes of the water being warm were completely washed away as the freezing cold bites right into his skin, sending shivers throughout his entire body. He'd barely gotten in the tank and he already wants to get out. How could he possibly do this for an entire scene?

He tries to breathe as he lowers himself to the tank, the water hanging onto his clothes uncomfortably, and exhales shakily. Sitting in cold water is easily the last on his list of things he'd want to do. Unfortunately, Jinyoung knows he doesn't really have a choice, and, well, the quicker he does this, the quicker he'll be able to go home, right?

He holds onto that thought like his life depended on it as he hears the director say it's time to start. The bright flashes of the cameras meet his eyes, and he shakes off any last thoughts of the cold, instead focusing on getting the scene perfectly so he'll be able to get out of here faster.

One take into the filming and Jinyoung frowns at the director's seemingly disappointed look. Did he do something wrong?

Apparently, as the director walked over to him, the answer to that question was yes.

"Jinyoung-ssi, you're too stiff and you're shivering too much!" He shouts, his voice sounding a bit muffled from the other side of the glass. "How do you expect this scene to look good if you're going to act like that?"

In an instant, the air around the room became tense.

From the corner of his eye, Jinyoung could see Youngjae looking at the man, the younger's expression clearly showing something akin to distaste. Jinyoung couldn't blame him. He wanted to argue, too, knowing that the director's words were exaggerated, or just plain untrue. He knew he hadn't been shivering that much to the point that it was evident on camera.
