"Are you running late?"

"Oh.."

"Are you okay?"

"Do you need me to come to you?"

"Are you certain?"

"Well I hope you feel better.."

"Okay..."

"Okay I'll see you next time then...."

You hung up and placed your phone on the table as your palm rested on your cheek.

You sighed sadly as you slowly stirred your drink.

"He's not interested in you..."

You- "Hmm?"

You turned your head to the right as saw your target had leaned on the chair next to yours.

Gotcha.

"He's not going to meet up with you if he gave you an excuse..."

You looked at him for a bit then turned your attention back to your drink.

"Everything okay miss?"

You- "I'm sorry but....I think you're too quick to jump to conclusions.."

"Oh?"

You- "His sister called and said that she needed him for something...So he cancelled our date so he could help her.."

The man chuckles and sits on the stood besides you.

"Let me tell you from a man's perspective...if a man blew you off for his sister, then he is either NOT interested....or he has another woman."

You gasped a bit as you looked away.

You- "He wouldn't do that to me...."

"He might, its a cruel world out there...but if I had the privilege to go on a date with a beauty.."

He leaned a bit closer.

You closed your eyes a bit at the scent of his cologne.

"I would've told my sister to FUCK OFF..."

You bit the inside of your cheek.

Your cheeks turned red, making the man brush his finger against your cheek.

"Can I buy you a drink my dear?"

You- "I have one already.."

"Its probably watered down since you've been stirring it all night."

You looked down at it and saw that the ice is gone.r

"Let me get a Manhattan and a Martini for the lady."

He says to the bartender.

You kept your gaze away as if you're looking around.

"What's a lady like you doing here anyways?"

He asks.

You- "Well...this place is what my date suggested, before all of this.."

He tisked.

"I would've never brought you here...I would've taken you to a much better restaurant...hell I probably would've rented the WHOLE restaurant just for you."

You- "O-Oh no...I don't think I'm worth the time anyways.."

"Well I think you are.."
