The air was cold,no wind breezes and the time was very early for anyone to be up at the time but Shang-chi was up and refining his martial arts but with prying eyes from afar, Shang-chi stops,smiles and turns to where the unseen spectator is "izuku I know you're there no need to hide" Shang-chi says shocking izuku who walks out into the sunlight
The boy was 4 years old and had green eyes and long green hair,facial resemblance to Shang-chi,freckles on both cheeks and still wearing pajamas
"I thought I was being sneaky" izuku says disappointed but Shang goes to him and pats him on the head "well it took me longer to find you so you were very sneaky" he says and izuku smiles "where's mama" Shang asks "still asleep" izuku says and Shang chuckles "your mother was a very heavy sleeper" Shang jokes "it's 4:30" izuku says and Shang's eyes widen "I've been out here for 9 hours. Whoops" Shang says and izuku laughs and the two sneak back in the house where they're promptly greeted by a very upset inko who overheard Shang and him saying that he'd been up for nine hours "izuku leave me and your father alone for a second" izuku complies and Shang cowers
After a few minutes izuku pokes his head out and sees his father knee sitting and his mother berating him for being up so long and that he needs rest "you don't have the rings anymore Shang. You can't go on for days at a time anymore" inko says sitting down "yeah I know. I just need to get my mind off them. I don't know what to do with them" Shang admits "we'll figure that out as we go along Shang but for now don't be a fighter. Be a father" inko says and Shang nods before the two kiss passionately "ewww" the two look back to see a disgusted izuku "hey you'll be doing it with your future lover" "no I won't" the adults laugh
Shang drops izuku off at school a few hours later thinking everything would be fine, it was in fact not fine since izuku was beaten up by several bullies and left on the ground of the playground and both inko and Shang arrive from work to get their son and Shang is furious with what happened "why didn't you stop this" Shang asks one of the teachers who were supervising "he's a quirkless little shit and he deserved it" Shang gets pissed and almost summons the rings to him but he calms down and instead punches the teacher dead in the mouth before spitting on him "I hear one more thing about this and next time your teeth will need to be replaced" Shang and inko leave with izuku who's held in Shang's arms and the teacher runs out of the office "GO HOME YOU FILTHY OUTSIDER" inko stops and glares daggers at the man

"Be thankful my son is here. If he weren't you'd already be dead" inko's words strike fear into the heart of the teacher who promptly fell on his ass, after the family arrives home inko takes care of izuku's injuries and Shang is unleashing his anger on a training dummy which he destroys with a kick "damn teacher" Shang says gritting his teeth but he slowly calms down and enters the house where izuku is crunched up chin on his knees on the couch "hey bud. How you feeling" Shang asks sitting next to his son but izuku doesn't respond so Shang hugs him tightly and rests izuku's head in the crevice of his neck
"It's ok buddy. That jerk has no idea what he's talking about and those boy's are nothing but people who love hurting other's who are different. They're trash" Shang says and izuku pokes his head out revealing his red eyes from his crying, he hugs his father who returns the hug. Inko walks in and joins in on the hug, the adults notice izuku asleep in their arms so they smile and take him to bed "goodnight bud" Shang says turning off the lights, the adults sit in the living room "inko. I think it's best if we start training izuku now" Shang says and inko agrees partially "will be bare the rings" inko asks, Shang looks at his forearms then to his wife "I don't know" Shang says
The next few years later
Shang and inko have started the training for izuku, izuku follows the example if his parents and does directly as instructed never getting it the first time but always trying again and again until he gets everything right, izuku had trained with many weapons and many styles until he managed to mix his fathers main martial art with his mothers. Now after 11 years if training every day and pushing himself past his own limits izuku has completed training and is now a humble fighter
