"What the hell was that?" Rosa's arms folded beneath her chest, doing nothing to hide her deep breathing. She should be pissed, should be enraged at what he had done. Yet she was barely holding back the urge to move forward and hold him. Feel herself melt into his broad body. The fur on the back of her neck began to stand at the thought... The anticipation of it. But she was supposed to be mad.

His face revealed nothing except that he was still relieved to know that she was alright, and even more so that no other mishaps had occurred while she finished up with her patients.

"I was worried he had hurt you... Are you sure you're alright Ro?" Rosa closed her eyes against his deep response... The way he breathed her name. She was supposed to be pissed at him.

"I told you I was fine. Donnie didn't like the pain... Which is understandable. You shouldn't have reacted that way. What if they read too much into it?" She could feel her face lax from anger into worry. The two of them... If anyone in the Cursed suspected anything, it wouldn't be good. Not that them having affection for one another was necessarily against the rules, but it would certainly cause trouble. Demari was a high ranking Soldier, to say it wouldn't look good for him to be seen with a healer was an understatement.

"Donnie?" A dark brow raised on Demari's forehead. She couldn't tell if he was mocking her or if she really did see a gleam of jealousy in his eyes. "Since when did you call him Donnie?"

She was pissed... She was pissed. "Everyone calls him Donnie... Why? You jealous?" Rosas eyes narrowed and she allowed the smallest hint of a smirk to cross her muzzle while her tail swished to curl behind her back, the biggest sign to show she was amused.

"No, Ro, I'm not jealous." His tongue clicked with his low snarl, giving Rosa a glimpse of his studded tongue. She shifted to close her legs.

"Really?" She asked, drawing the word out sarcastically. "So you wouldn't mind if I fucked him then?" Rosa turned her back to him, tail curling in an amused question mark. It was moreso to hide her smile. Sometimes it was fun to mess with him. "You can't deny he's an attractive tom, ya know."

Rosa could feel Demari's eyes narrowing, in anger, jealousy or knowing disappointment, she didn't know. But what she didn't expect to feel was a gentle pressure on her waist. She didn't need to glance down to know it was Demari's hand, and as her tail lowered to brush the ground, she could feel his stomach against her back. If she tilted her head back it would rest squarely in the center of his chest.

Tingles spread like wildfire through her body, their ignition points being every part of her body that connected with his own. She suddenly wanted her clothes to ignite with it.

"You think Donovan really knows what he's doing?" Demari's breath caressed her ear as his voice rumbled into her body. She could feel the vibration of his voice from his chest behind her, and it was a fight to resist leaning into it... A fight she ultimately lost. She did, however, suppress the noise that wanted to escape her own throat, trading it instead for a sharp exhale of breath.
Damn him.

"And I suppose you do?" She asked, her voice breathless  as she realized how dry her throat had become.

"Would you like me to show you what I know, Rosa?" His voice was barely a whisper, but it sent shrills down her spine that made her back arch... Or was that just the fact that his other hand had met her hip, and his thumb had somehow found it's way into the soft fur on her slightly exposed stomach. And when he used her full name...
