Chap. 1

        Tw: Volance, fowl language, racism ( had to make it realistic🥲 ), cops, being pulled over, Homophobia ( noodle is a lesbian, murdoc is pan, 2Ds bi, and Russels confused)  , panic attack? 
               
[  Russel's perspective ]

I watched as Murdoc put the last bag in the travel van, hearing a soft thump as it went in, we had come to America for a road trip, Noodle had convinced me it would be good for us to spend time together on the road.

As we left the airport in our rented van I herd 2D say something, I looked in the rew-vew mirror to see what the problem could be, 2D seemed to be a bit nervous.

" yo de, you alright man? "

I called to him hoping he was going to be ok on the road

" ...I godda wee "

I stifled a laugh as I pulled the van over, Murdoc looked annoyed, but then again, he just had a resting bitch face, 2D stepped out of the van and went behind some bushes that were on the side of the road, soon he was back in the van and we were back on the road.

" oi! Faceache what's the bloody time? "

Murdoc called back to 2D, I watched for a moment as 2D pulled out his phone before I put my eyes back on the road.

" it's 4:37 "

2D sayed back, Noodle was singing along to the music in the van, I recognized the song, it was " Dear Mama" by 2Pac, I personally loved the song, it reminded me of the simple days of living with my family in New York, I started humming along to the song as we all sat in comfortable silence, 2D on his phone, Noodle taking pictures and singing, Murdoc sitting with his head out the window, and me driving.

[ 2 hours later ]

" Oi russel, let's get some food, im hungry "

" oh! Me to! "

I smiled as I looked around the road, I usually wasn't to found of spending time with all of the band members, but today had been nice, Murdoc had been pretty friendly and 2D hadn't gotten any headaches, I saw a sigh for a few different food places and decided this was probably our best option, I pulled into the lane I needed to be in to get over, we pulled in and soon chose a random place to park, we all stepped out and looked around, it was nice, a mall like area with people walking around and chatting

" so, where should we eat? "

Noodle asked, I shrugged

" I'll eat anything "

I sayed with a smile on my face

" oh we know you will russ"

Most would have taken offense to the words that left Murdocs mouth, but it didn't bother me, I wasn't ashamed of being big, infact I made a game of it to see how much I gain then how much becomes muscle when I work out

" wha' bout' there? "

2D pointed to a building with a red and yellow sigh shaped like an M, Noodle looked at the place and smiled

" I agree with toochie-san let's go there! "

Murdoc smiled at Noodle, he always had a soft spot for her
