Can You Keep A Secret?

A/N: I wanted to start off with an authors note, this chapter is inspired by jameshair most recent short story.

Riley's POV

Today we had dance again and I was starting to dread going, I mean I love dance and all but me and James have been in a "secret" relationship for about a year now and it's kind of hard to keep the secret at dance. I still have to go everyday because my parents pay a lot of money, so I put on my blue tank top and white shorts, grab a granola bar to eat and then head out the door.

When me and Emily got to dance I see James is the only one there and she gives James a glare, Emily is busy on her phone so I walk over to James.

"Hey babe." He says.

"Hey." I give him a quick hug but then pull away because I saw Emily look up from her phone. I walk over to her so she doesn't look suspicious.

"What we're you doing over there?" She asks with a rude tone.

"Can't I just talk to him?"

"No, as your older sister I don't want you dating a player."

"Whatever" I mumble.

James wasn't a player now, I mean awhile ago he dated girls, but now I think he's changed.

When everyone got here Miss. Kate walked out.

"Everyone, I decided we're doing small groups, everyone is involved in this so the groups are... Amanda, Giselle, and Hunter, Emily, Michelle, and West, Thalia, and Eldon are the only ones doing a duet because we don't have enough people, and last but not least we have Riley, James, and Stephanie!" Miss.Kate says excitedly.

"You all have 2 hours to choreograph a routine." Phoebe says.

I walk over to James and Stephanie and we decide to go to the Music Room.

James POV

When I heard Rileys name and then mine I was so happy, but then I heard Stephanie's name and I knew she would report everything to Emily.

We walk into the music room and it's almost like Stephanie's not apart of the group because she's just sitting by the wall on her phone.

"You have to participate..." Riley says.

"Well think of choreography and then teach it to me." She snaps back.

"Fine" Riley mumbles under her breath.

After about an hour me and Riley came up with a decent dance that had some lifts but it was more like a duet.

"Alright, we made choreography like you u asked now get up and learn it." I say.

"Fine! Just show it to me first." She says and gives me a glare.

Me and Riley show her the dance and she sort of approves.

"My concern is what am I going to do while your doing the lifts? And I thought you guys hates each other..."

"Your a dancer so think of some moves.." Riley says.

Riley's POV

After about an hour Steph knows the choreography and Eldon calls us back to studio A.

After everyone goes it's our turn.

"Alright Riley, James and Stephanie are up next!" Phoebe says and everyone claps.

We do our diet perfectly but I notice Emily glaring at me and as soon as we finish Emily walks over to me.

"Why did you decide to do a lift with James?" She asks.

"Um...."

"What's going on!?" She snaps.

"Um... Me and James are.... Dating." I say.

"I can't believe you!" She yells and then stomps off.

Then James walks over probably because he heard Emily.

"Did you tell her?" He asks.

I nod my head, and a tear runs down my cheek I don't know why it but it does.

"It's alright." He says and then gives me a hug and it's like I feel safer in his arms.
