Crystal Returns

Steve's POV
It was quite a beautiful day in Hawkins Indiana, things have been going great, no crazy monster shit in about a year.
I sigh to myself peacefully as I get ready to meet all my friends at the park for 3:30. Throwing on the first clothes I could find and grabbing my keys before finally heading to my car.
I arrive at the park to see Robin, Dustin, and Eddie already there. "Hey losers what's up?" I shout to the group while heading over to them. "Steve! Finally someone who can settle this argument" Eddie says as I finally reach them. "Bowie...." Robin started but Eddie interrupts abruptly "icon or overrated?" I look between the three of them and let of a sigh "icon absolutely" was there really a debate to this though? "THANK YOU!" Robin and Eddie say in unison. We hang out and talk for another hour before Mike, Will, Lucas, Max, and El finally come racing over on their bikes. "Where the fuck have you guys been?" We all ask the arriving group in unison, as which they reply for some reason in unison as well "long story" we all shrug it off and talk for a few more hours.
As time has passed and it's now 7:30pm, I remember the one thing I was suppose to do today "fuck guys I totally forgot I have to go pick up my sister at the airport" I exclaim, jumping to my feet. "Woah woah, Harrington you've got a sister?" Eddie questions. "Why yes Munson I do, and if I don't leave now she's gonna be real pissed, I'll meet you guys at Eddie's" I say running off to my car.

Max's POV
"Okay so did anyone here know that Harrington had a sister?" Eddie started to question practically the second Steve left. "Yes Eddie the boys and I knew, we don't talk about her much because there's a lot of stuff that went down before she left" I explain to him, trying not to think about it all. "Okay well are any of you losers gonna tell me about her?" Eddie continues to pry, I sigh very obviously annoyed but, I calmly explain to him a little bit about her "well, her name is Crystal, she's nineteen years old and kind of a badass. You'd never be able to get her attention freak" adding in a little insult really helped me feel better. "Alright guys let's head over to Eddie's for pizza, Steve and Crystal should be there soon" Mike interrupts, but we all agree and start heading over.

Crystals POV
I've been waiting for this asshole at this airport for an hour I told him 7 where the hell is he? I look up at the doors frustrated as ever, then I see him walking through the doors with a big smile on his face waving at me. I simply roll my eyes and start gathering my stuff "hey Ry, need some help?" I hear Steve say but I ignore him. "Ry I know I'm late but let me help" he says so annoyingly as he grabs two of my bags and I follow him to his car. "An hour. You were late a whole hour Steve" I yell as we enter the car. "I know I know I'm so sorry I got caught up at the park with my friends, who by the way can't wait to meet you" he calmly says while throwing his hands up in defense before starting the car and backing out. I stay silent the rest of the ride to our house listening to Bowie.
Thirty minutes pass and we pull into our driveway, carry my things to my room and say a quick hi to mom and dad before leaving once again to his friend Eddie's place.

Eddie's POV
There's a knock on the door and I go to answer it but it has already flung open revealing Steve fucking Harrington. "You know waiting for someone to answer is always polite Harrington" I tease as I walk back over to the spot on the floor I was sitting in. "Oh fuck off Munson" he bickers back before opening his mouth again and exclaiming "guys this is Crystal Harrington!" I didn't even get to breath before all the kids ran up to her giving hugs and saying their hellos and welcome backs. A few minutes go by and finally the havoc in my trailer settled down while everyone took a seat. I looked over at Harringtons sister and smiled while sticking my hand out to her "hey-hello, I'm Eddie" she smiles and takes my hand "Crystal, nice to meet you. Dustin has told me a lot about you" she's says in the sweetest voice I think I've ever heard. "Well do I live up to what Henderson says?" I question while flashing the biggest smile, slightly biting my tongue. "I don't know, are you really a freak Munson?" She asks, smirking. Is she flirting with me? I think she is, and they said I wouldn't have a chance with her. "Why don't you come find out Crystal" I flirt back while pulling my hair across my face. "NO!" Steve suddenly screams, startling the shit out of us all. Everyone starts bursting out laughing, and I just glance over at Crystal, smiling god she's beautiful. Her short black curly hair, bright blue eyes, a smile that could light up the room with these giant dimples. She's wearing black bell bottoms with rips in them, black boots, and a David Bowie shirt. There's a sudden knock on the door, jumping to my feet I yell "I'll get it!" I open the door to the pizza man, I pay and bring the pizza over to the group.

Crystals POV
After a very long time at Eddie's, Steve and I head home after all I do have to be up early since I'm starting at Hawkins high. At least I'll have some friends there and I won't feel totally alone for a change. I hop in the shower before heading to bed, and that's where the flashbacks begin....
- "BILLIE PLEASE NO" I scream as loud as I possibly could, sobbing. All I could do was watch as Billy gets plunged into by the Mind Flayer, before falling to the ground and choking on his own blood. I run over to him and pull his head into my lap sobbing uncontrollably. "Billy why?" I sob out, he saved my life. "Ry, love made me crazy" he says as he takes his last breath before dying in my arms. I didn't know what to do, all I could do was sit there with him in my lap screaming—
I jump out of my skin and out of the gruesome flashback as I hear a bang on my bathroom door, "CRYSTAL ARE YOU OKAY?" I hear Steve yell through the door. "Ye-yeah I'm fine" I say back, not convincing at all as my voice is shaking. I climb out of the shower and throw on my PJs. Opening the door to a very worried Steve I jump back, not realizing he would be standing there still. "Did you have another flashback?" He asks, wiping tears from my cheek that I didn't even realize were there. "It just keeps replaying Steve!" I start to sob as I fall into his arms. He's the only one who understands since he was there when it happened. "It's okay Ry" he says calmly as he rubs my back. I can't even get words out as I choke on my tears, "here let me go get you some ice cold water why don't you lay down, get ready for bed we have a big day tomorrow" he says as he pulls away from the hug, I simply nod my head. I climb into my bed waiting for my brother to come back with the water. There's a small tap on the door and he enters with the glass "here, get some rest Ry I'll see you in the morning" he says comfortingly as he hands me the water and heads out closing the door behind him. I toss back and forth until I finally fall asleep.
