"In the end they're competition and should be seen as a threat until they prove otherwise."
☂️Umbrella Academy☂️
Five Hargreeves should have known that he and his family never got anything at the first try. He should have known that it was too good to be true when he and his siblings arrived in the main hall of what was supposed to be their home. However, Five had only himself to blame for the mess he had just dropped them into. Even with the briefcase, they should have been in their own timeline, and the timeline itself shouldn't even be different at all.
After all the fighting he had to do to get them back home, alive...Five was tired. He actually wanted to retire from being an assassin for the Commission and from saving the world. He wanted to embrace being in his boyish body. He was starting to fill out the way he was supposed to do before he had gotten trapped inside the apocalypse the first time. With all the food he's been eating while with his siblings, Five had gained just a bit of healthy fat, that with time would turn into muscle.
Five was ready for what life had to offer him when he wasn't always looking over his shoulder and trying to save the world. He was looking forward to it, despite how he felt about his family treating him as a kid and/or forgetting that he was really a 40 something year old man stuck in his prepubescent body due to miscalculations in his time traveling jumps.
However, as much as he wanted to retire and live a normal life since he never got to before, it was not to be. Because he and his siblings traveled back to 2019 only to find that the timeline had been changed. If not by them, then by someone who knew of their plans to come back home. Their home was now called the Sparrow Academy and there were Seven of them. Apparently Reginald never found Five and his siblings in the changed timeline. Whether that was intentional or not, he would have to get back to that one.
Five watched as Diego stepped forward, his body somewhat blocking him and silently challenged the seven who called themselves The Sparrow Academy. From the way everyone was glaring at each other, he knew it was only a matter of time before an all out brawl broke out. Five had left the briefcase down in the basement and he pondered if he should take the risk of blinking away to grab it when they were about to possibly be in a fight in the next few moments.
Five was already exhausted from his fight with Lila and the Handler, and then going back in time in seconds and not decades for the first time. He was covered in bruises and he still had strangulation or ligature marks on his neck from when he'd nearly been strangled by one of the commission. His lip was split, there was a bruise over his right cheekbone, and there was a copious amount of blood on his clothes, from when the Handler had gunned them down and nearly killed them.
"Why are you in our house?!" The tall African American demanded angrily. His eyes were roaming the lot of the umbrellas, taking in their appearances.
