Be Happy

I calmly strolled down the bumpy road, dodging the small skittery bugs and beetles, and saw you standing about a minute ahead of me. Though something was wrong. You were standing there idly, frantically looking up and down the road, as if looking for someone. You eventually stopped, and looked down at your phone with a disappointed look on your face. As if sensing your gloomy aura, I decided to approach you and hopefully cheer you up.

I slowly approached you, as to not frighten you, and asked what was wrong. You were waiting on your friends who promised to give you a lift in their car, but your friends had ditched you, though you were especially sad because this particular party, you were personally invited by your crush, who was the host. Feeling sorry for you, and mad that your friends dared to ditch you, I asked if we could possibly exchange numbers and be friends. You agreed. The atmosphere was no longer gloomy, but peaceful.

When we parted ways I couldn't help but think of the type of person you were, to me it seemed that we would get along quite well. Now that I have time to think, maybe I've seen you around a few times before? And I think I know exactly who your "friends" are. Me and them used to get along quite well before their personality became seaweed dragged through sewage and sprinkled with salt.

I don't know how many peoples feelings they've hurt, but you were the last victim to their evil schemes. I'd make sure of that. I don't know exactly what I will do, but they are for a blast of sugar-coated pepper.
