Nightmare

Atsushi Held his knees close to his chest as he buried his face in a pillow. Most Nights he would sleep fine, but he occasionally had nightmares of his times at the orphanage, and when he did he could never get back to sleep. He would sit in his bed alone, trying to comfort himself, so that he would be able to finally get back to sleep, but he simply couldn't, so often he would just lay in bed awake and quietly sob to himself until the sun rose. But this time was a little different.

As atsushi sniffled after the upsetting dream he had just awoken from, he heard a faint rattling  coming from the window, to the side of his bed. At First this startled atsushi, but he was soon over come with a sense of relief, and happiness as he realised one pale worried little face was peering through the glass behind the curtain, signaling for him to open the window.
It was his lover, akutagawa.

Atsushi hurriedly lifted himself out of the cold dooner and rushed over to unlock the window. Almost instantly after he un did the hatch, he was nocked over by two warm arms holding him tight, and the weight of a Not too heavy bodying falling on top of him.

"Ryuu what are you doing here!?" Atsushi wispered in a shakely voice, still slightly worked up over the bad dream. "it's 1:00 am!"

Aku shrugged, and Just Held atsu tighter in his arms, "I just.. had I feeling you could use a hug."

Atsushi looked down to akutagawa, who had his face nuzzled into his chest, and brought his hands to run his fingers through his hair. He couldn't help but find himself smiling dumbly at Aku as he hugged him. He made him so happy. He felt so lucky to have him with him. He was all he could ask for, and of course Aku felt the same. Atsushi couldn't see it, but aku too, had a warm smile spread across his face. Every time atsushi told aku that he loved him it made him feel like the world was such a fantastic place. Every time there fingers interlocked with eachothers, he felt so happy, like he was the luckiest man in the world.

"I'll stay over tonight" aku said, without making eye contact with his lover, to avoid him seeing his peach coloured face as he spoke.

"I would like that alot" atsushi replied, wiping the tears from his eyes.

Both the boys sat up, and moved to the bed, and not for one moment did aku release atsu from his arms. Atsushi lay down in the bed, and Aku pulled the dooner over the both of them. He lent over atsushi to give him a gentle kiss on his soft lips, and then brushed his choppy fringe a side to give him another on his forehead.

"Im here now, your safe. I won't let anyone hurt you." He spoke so gently, atsushi could cry all over again. It was like aku new exactly what he was thinking, and new Just how to comfort him. God, he just loved him so much.

As aku broke the kiss, he moved his head to atsu's shoulder, his arms still holding him close. Atsushi turned to face his lover, as he brought his arms around his waist, and held him tight, there noses subtly brushing up against one and other. Akutagawa gently caressed atsu's back, until he started to calm down, and eventually drift off into a peaceful sleep.

"I love you so much ryuu" aku smiled at the words, and following his little jinko, slowly but surely closed his eyes.

Both the boys heads Sharing the same pillow, they lay in eachothers arms all through the night, being comforted by the soothing warmth of eachother, being insulated by the fluffy blankets.

They loved one and other with there whole hearts, and that was how it would always be.
