Cat-ch me when I fall

Prologue

"F-father?" Chat Noir whispers as the mask of Hawkmoth disappears and the body of Gabriel Agreste takes it's final breath. 

Ladybug was returning the akumatized victims back to their homes and making sure each one was ok. She left Chat with Hawkmoths body because no matter how much she tried, he would not leave Hawkmoth. Ladybug swung across Paris, finally done with her task. She landed in the abandoned warehouse where they had defeated the villian that had tormented their lives for the past few years. She looked around, hoping to find Hawkmoth and finally discover the identity of the man who had cruelly and mercilessly tried to destroy Paris many times. 

She saw no one, the only thing left was a bloodstained piece of paper. On it was a note from Chat, I took Hawkmoth to his family, they needed to know -Chat. Ladybug was confused but she let it be. Next time she saw him, she would ask what had happened. 

A few weeks later Marinette was walking to her parents bakery when Tikki called out Marinette's name from inside her purse. "Marinette, we need to talk." She said in her high pitched voice peeking out from the purse. "Ok Tikki, can we wait until I get to my room and then we can talk?" Tikki shook her small polkadotted head, "No this can't wait." 

Marinette sighed and hid in the nearest alleyway. "Ok, what did you want to tell me Tikki?" Tikki flew out from Marinettes purse and sat on her hand. "This is really hard to say, but......you have to return me to Master Fu. There is no longer a need for Ladybug in Paris, so you no longer have a need for me." Tikki whispered with a tears slipping from her big eyes.

 Marinette stiffened. She had never thought what would happen after Hawkmoth was defeated. She had to give Tikki back. Marinette let a few tears slip. "Ok Tikki. I'll give you up. But just know that I will miss you so much and you have been the greatest friend that I could ever have."
