Across the Multiverse: A Wanda Maximoff Story

Chapter 1

Our story begins in a small town in Sokovia where a small family of four lives. They live in a broken down apartment with trashed wallpaper all around it. On the outside of it, there are many trash cans laying sideways or standing tall, like our main character. Wanda Maximoff. She is better known as The Scarlet Witch. One day, Wanda and her family were at their home, about to watch a movie. They rarely watch T.V in general. So this was kind of a big deal to Wanda and her brother. Pietro Maximoff. The kids were sitting on their broken down couch and happy to start the movie. Then HYDRA attacked their hometown and Wanda and Pietro were kidnapped and got genetically engineered to develop their powers. Wanda had developed her powers as the Scarlet Witch. Pietro on the other hand, had gotten powers that made him fast and speedy. As the two grew up, separated from their parents, they had made a strong connection as siblings. The two always stood side by side and backed each other up when they needed to accomplish something.

Many years later, the two were invited to join the Avengers but unfortunately, Pietro was invited to join the X-Men before he had gotten the invitation for the Avengers. So he could not deny this offer. He said yes to the X-Men, leaving Wanda to fend for herself. She had eventually joined the Avengers for good cause. Her first appearance as one of the Avengers was when they were fighting the Winter Soldier. She was fully introduced as an Avenger during the Battle of Ultron, where she had reunited with her brother. As happy as she was, she still had to take down the robot that was destroying New York. She had wandered the streets of New York, killing robots every minute. She was more powerful than she knew. She could destroy the multiverse with just a few flicks of her wrists. She saw her brother and spoke to him, telling him to save everyone and get them on a ship. He followed her word and did exactly that. But once he had stepped foot onto the ship, he wasn't exactly paying attention and he had gotten shot. He had died that day and Wanda was deceived. She had flown back to her home with nothing but sadness. She had met someone that day though. He is a robot that goes by the name of Vision. Vision is very smart and has emotions. He didn't speak like other robots though. He spoke like a human. That's when Wanda fell in love with Vision. As the events unroll in this story, this is where it all began. This is the true story of Wanda Maximoff.
