Chapter 3

Mia's POV-
The phone rings.

"Hello" I say.

"Hey!! Whose bringing you to school?" Matt says.

Me: "I'm driving"

Matt: "not anymore!! I'm on my way to pick you up"

Me: "ok..."

Matt: "I'll be there in ten minutes!!"

Me: "ok bye!" Then I get ready and sit on the couch and wait for Matt to come. Then I hear his car pull up in the driveway. I walk outside and see him standing outside of the car.

"Hey!!" Matt says.

"Hey!! So why are you driving me to school?" I say and I sit in the car.

Matt: "why you don't wanna spend time with your boyfriend?"

Me: "oh my gosh..."

Matt: "Kennedy thinks that I'll be driving you so..."

Me: "oh... do you miss her?"

Matt: "kinda..."

Me: "then I'll try my best to get her back for you"

Matt: "thanks" he says smiling. We pull up to the school and he parks.

Matt: "there's Kennedy. So when we get out you have to hold my hand"

Me: "ugh.... fine"

Matt: "what?"

Me: "I'm joking!!" We get out and Matt hold my hand and starts walking towards the school.

"Hey Matt!" Kennedy says.

"Hey Ken" Matt says.

Kennedy: "I'm having a party at my house Saturday. I was wondering if you wanna go?"

Matt: "sure can Mia go?"

Kennedy: "sure!"

Matt: "thanks I'll see you around"

Me: "I don't have anything to wear to a party!!"

Matt: "ugh..."

Me: "I'm sorry usually I wear a t-shirt and jeans!"

Matt: "wow... ok we need to go shopping for you"

Me: "I gotta get ready for class see you later"

Matt: "ok"

I go to my locker and Jake is at his locker. I get my books and then I see Jake coming towards me.

"Hey Mia" Jake says.

"Hey Jake" I say.

Jake: "so you going to Kennedy's party?"

Me: "yeah. You?"

Jake: "yeah"

Me: "so-"

"Hey babe!" Matt says kissing my cheek.

Me: "oh hey..."

Matt: "hey Jake! So you going to Ken's party?"

Jake: "yeah" he looked all annoyed as soon as Matt came...

Jake: "well I'll catch ya later Mia"

Me: "ok see ya!!" Then Jake walks away. I look at Matt.

Matt's POV-

"What?!?" I ask.

"UGH!!!" She says and she grabs my arm and walks over to the janitors closet. I usually go here if I want to skip class. We go in and she shuts the door.

"What the hell??" She says.

"What? I'm trying to protect you!!" I say.

Mia: "your not my boyfriend!!!"

I look at her and I push her against the wall.

Me: "I do this because I care about you... I don't want you to get hurt..." All I saw was the expression on her face.

Me: "why do you push away those who want to help you!?!"

Mia: "I don't know..." I let go and she looks down.

Me: "I know people like Jake!! He'll say he likes you and then you fall in love with him and BAM a big break up happens!!" Mia just looks down.

Mia: "I'm sorry Matt..." then she pulls me into a hug. "you've always cared about me and I've never said thank you..." I pull away and she sits on the floor. I sit in front of her and she looks down. I get up on my knees and I lean towards her. I move her hair and I lean in... Our lips connected...
