[Nancy's POV]

It's 11:50, the museum closed a few hours ago. I sigh softly, leaning back in my chair. Shifts like this are so boring. Nothing happens. Right as I think that, I hear loud feet pounding on the roof. Finally! Some action around here! I wait, watching some type of saw go through the ceiling. Oh boy, whoever this is is gonna be tricky, huh? Seconds later, a rope falls down which I immediately grab hold of. Whoever it is starts to climb down the rope. I smirk as I give it a yank once they're about halfway from the ground. They crumple to the floor with a loud thud. "Ow!" "What do you think you're doing? Trying to steal something?" They lift their head, scrambling to their feet. "Shit! Uh- I didn't know anyone was in here!"

They take one look at me, smirking. "Well hello there little lady.." I grab them by the shoulder, pulling their mask off and backing them against the wall. It's a girl. She looks about the same age as me. "Who do you think you're calling 'little lady'?" She groans. "You, obviously! See, how about... you let me take the diamond, and in exchange- I'll take you out!" I scoff, rolling my eyes. "You thought that would actually work?"

I reach for my handcuffs, but I can't find them. Damnit! Must have left them at home. "If you move, I'll take this gun and shoot you in the leg." She nods, and I back away, yanking the rope from the hole in the ceiling. "Oh wait- I actually.. I needed that! Damnit!" I smile, amused. "Come here." She looks me up and down. "I thought you said not to move-" "Shut up and come here, you idiot!" She hesitantly takes a step. "Please don't shoot me!" I roll my eyes, wrapping the rope around my arm. "Sure. Be quick now." My patience is wearing thin with this girl. She walks over. "Hands." "Wh-Why would you need my hands-" "HANDS. Now." She jumps, holding her hands out toward me. I quickly tie her wrists together, holding the loose end as I push her back against the wall. She groans again. "Why are you so good at that? Were you a Girl Scout as a kid?" I chuckle, shrugging "Something like that, yeah."

She squirms. "Don't waste your time. You're not getting out of that rope. I promise." She groans louder. "Come on, Why are you being such a goody two-shoes! Just- here, new deal! Let me go and I'll split the cash! 60-40!" I narrow my eyes "60-40? You really think I'm that naive?" I grab my walkie talkie, about to alert security at the front desk to call the police. "Wait! Wait! Okay, okay 50-50!" I laugh. This is amusing. I almost don't want to turn her in. Wait- that's not a bad idea.

"Alright.. I'll let you go. You're gonna have to keep trying to get that Diamond though." I untie her, she looks so confused. "Why..?" I smile. "You amuse me. I need some entertainment this job is boring." She nods "Thank- thank you?" "Don't thank me. You're not getting a free pass." I wrap the rope back around my arm, rolling it up. "I'm keeping this." She gulps, looking around. "Get out before I change my mind." She nods, walking toward a door with a big, red 'EXIT' sign over it. I await her return.
