.Chapter 1:The beginning.

It all starts on an island known as Berk, where a very special boy named Hiccup lived.His farther Stoick Haddock, was the chief of this very island.Hiccup was special because he could understand and communicate with dragons!.Cool right?

Well he wasn't seen as useful to his fellow village folk.Why you may ask? Well Hiccup wasn't the strongest viking,he was considered weak ,not just because of his appearance,but because he won't kill a dragon,nor human ,not even a fly.

But what if I told you that in this story,he becomes stronger and more powerful than any viking,maybe even as strong as a god

Hiccup POV.

I was snuggling my pillow, feeling comfortable as I was about to fall back into my slumber,when my I heard my farther's disturbing yell, he sounded angry,I just hope he doesn't put his anger out on me like yesterday.

"What contraption are you making now!?" Stoick shouted at his only child, sounding frustrated. "D-dad I was just try to make a machine that catapults nets into the ai-"

Hiccup was about to finish his statement,when Stoick cut him off "And why would we need this!?" Hiccup started to sweat as his farther's anger and tone began to rise " We can use them to capture dragons!" Hiccup exclaimed,he soon shut his mouth as he realised what he just had just done.

"Did you just raise your voice at me !?" Stoick roared out in anger as his temper rose to it's limit.Hiccup ran knowing what was about happen, he ran to his room,he tried to lock the door but he was to late.

Stoick kicked the door down.He had an axe in his right hand.He exclaimed with a war cry as he ran towards Hiccup was terrified for his life.Stoick raised the axe above his head and then ... swung *S L A S H* . He gave Hiccup a huge scar across his chest, Hiccup groaned as he painfully walked his way to the village healer...

I winced in pain as touched my huge scar.I got dressed and then headed too the Eating Hall.

I walked in tiredly, because I barely got sleep from last night.As soon as I got my food and sat down, Snotlout came over and smashed my face into my breakfast.I groaned as the others started laughing.

"Ha,ha very funny Snotlout" I sarcastically spat out.Snotlout walked away and started flirting with Astrid.If you don't know who Astrid is she is the best female viking in the whole village and she's supposably the prettiest girl too, but I don't see it, what I mean is saying that she more beautiful than others is kinda offensive too others and by others I mean other girls.

I believe all girls should feel beautiful and that they are all beautiful.I just wish they could see that.

After I ate my breakfast,I was going to head back to the catapult I was making,when one of the twins came over to me, it was Tuffnut he told me that my dad put me in a dragon killing class. I groaned and went to Gobber the village blacksmith, to get some more materials for the catapult.

As I got to Gobber, I walked up to him and greeted him with a tired morning, Gobber seemed to notice my tiredness and gave me a questioning look, " Did you sleep at all last night , you seem more tired than a yak during winter" I looked up at Gobber and sighed a bit "Well, did get some sleep ". Gobber now had a conserved look on his face. "You should sleep more, lack of sleep is bad for." I just smiled and thought to myself Well at least Gobber cares for me I wish others could be as kind as him. "Well I'm assuming your here for some materials for that little project" I just nod in response.

Gobber hands me the materials, and I thank him. I then head to the catapult and give it a few more adjustments.

Y/N POV

I got up from my bed as I felt the morning sun hit my face.I began to change into my (favourite colour shirt) on with my white fur vest, I then put on my brown leather pants and snow leopard boot.

I was sitting in the Eating Hall, when I notice the door open I see Hiccup the village outcast I don't understand why people hate him so much. Just because he is different, I feel so bad for him I wish I could help him.

I watched him sit down at a table I soon see Snotlout the village flirt come up to Hiccup and smash his face face in his food,I got upset I was about to beat the shit out of Snotlout but then I realized it was probably a bad idea, so I just sat and watched. When Snotlout was done bothering Hiccup he went over to Astrid who was minding her own business.

I noticed as soon as Snotlout opened his mouth she had a look on her face that said "I want to kill myself" I giggled a bit.

I finished eating and headed home to grab my sketchbook and sash that I used to carry my stuff. I went to the forest to draw , I like drawing nature it's fun, calming and it just takes away bad energy.

HICCUP POV

I was finally finished my catapult. My dad came over to me and asked me what I was busy with, I told him about the catapult. I assume he must have been drunk last night that must be why he attacked me for no reason.

He seemed interested and told me I should use it on any dragon that fly's by. I just nodded as he walked away.

I soon heard a striking sound, from the sky I looked up it was a Night fury! I ran out with my catapult and aimed it at it there was a thud heard as the night fury got caught in my net.

"Well? Go after it, kill it after all it was your catch!" I heard my dad yell from a far a grabbed a helmet shield and a mace.I went into the forest a bit terrified but also determined, this could be a way of making people see that I am good enough.

I walk into the forest I then bump into something because I wasn't paying attention I look up and see someone standing in front of me they had (h/c) hair and (e/c) eyes that pierced through my soul,his stare is cold but soft and caring at the same time he seemed confused at what I was doing. I felt a bit embarrassed for some reason.

"Uh..., Hi" he said quite a bit awkwardly "H-Hi" ,I stuttered,why am I so nervous, I mean this is the first time someone my age isn't making fun of me he is kind of big built for most people my age. I don't mean he is fat I mean he is...,well..., I don't know muscular.
