Chapter 1

Chapter 1 Aria POV

Here I am at a party with my friends I am drunk, and I am making out with some guy in the bathroom. A popular song is playing in the background from the main room at the party. I don't know the guy well; he is just from school. This guy is tall with dirty blond hair, and brown eyes and his name is Vincenzo, he also has a strong smell of cigarettes and alcohol.

I am wearing some black satin mini dress as well as some black heels, and I have my hair up in a sleek ponytail and of course, I am wearing red lipstick which is now getting all over this guy's lips

"You're beautiful," Vincenzo says as we pause from kissing

"Yes, I know" I value my self-worth

"It's hard to believe you're related to Lorenzo Russo"

Just then I push him off me, one thing that annoys me is when people compare me to my brother, we are completely different people, although we would do anything for each other I am my own person.

"What's wrong, baby"

"I wanted to have fun not talk about my brother"

"We can still have fun"

"No, I changed my mind"

"Oh c'mon" just then he puts his hand on my butt as I am about to leave

Oh no I would hate to be this guy right now

"Get your filthy hands off me!" I shout and push him into the wall I make my exit from that room and I am about to leave the party when I hear my friend shout my name from the main room.

"Aria! Come quick!"

I run to see my friends in a corner together and my friend Anna crying

"What happened!"

"Felipe Bianchi he was making out with another girl"

Oh, here we go

My friend Anna liked Felipe even though I had told her it was not a good idea; they made out together a few times and Anna wanted to sleep with him

"Anna, it's Felipe"

"You don't understand, I thought he wanted me"

"Felipe just used you"

"Why did he kiss me then, lots by the way"

"Felipe kisses lots of girls and more it doesn't mean anything to him"

My friend Anna cries more, and I pull her into a hug

"Where's Felipe now?" I ask

"He left"

"With that girl?"

"No, he had to leave something to do with his dad"

"Oh okay"

Felipe went to the same school as me and he was a year above me the same as my brother, Enzo. Enzo and Felipe have always hated each other I've always suspected that Felipe is jealous of my brother.

The morning

I woke up late, as usual, my brother probably had already left, going to a party on a Sunday was not a good idea but I was still going to go to School. I got dressed in my uniform I didn't care much about my appearance I put on some light makeup as well as my dark red lipstick

"Aria, you are going to be late!" My mother shouts

I came downstairs to see my mother had made some pancakes I decided to put some in a lunch box so I could eat them on the way to school and my mother had made me a cup of coffee just what I needed

"Thank you, mum"

"Aria, I want you to try your best at school today"

"I'll try mother" I pull my mother into a hug and walk out of the house to my driver

I got compared to my brother a lot as he's smart and mature unlike me, he is taking over my father's company meanwhile I did badly at school as I had a tough time last year because of my ex. I'm glad my dad had already left for work which I was glad because we would have ended up in an argument about school.

My mother is an interior designer and because of that sometimes works with my father who is Giovanni Russo one of the richest CEOs in Italy, so he owns hotels, and restaurants you name it. I have always felt that people see me as some spoiled rich girl, I admit I am spoilt but my parents both work hard to provide for me and my brother and we are grateful for what we have.

Lunch Break

After my class was over for lunch, I decided to go get lunch with my friends, Anna, Francessca and Laura. Anna is sort of like the baby of the group she is innocent and can be a little stupid at times, Francessca is the smart one, she didn't revise for a test, and she still managed to pass. Laura is the one with the most experience with guys, so I usually go to her for advice on that topic

"Aria, I think you should try dating again," Laura says

"No, way" I respond

"It's been a year since the Eduardo situation"

"I thought we agreed to never talk about him again" I hate even the name it triggers me so badly and if I mention to my friends and family, he has been trying to contact me it will just be another mess again

"I want you to have love again"

"I don't want love, okay"

"Love is a great thing" Anna speaks

"Speaking of which how are you dealing with the whole Felipe situation," I ask to change the subject I do not want to talk about love or my ex.

Anna starts messing with her food with her cutlery

"I think Felipe will come back to me"

I and Laura look at each other

"Anna, Felipe won't"

"Yes, he will"

"Anna, there's plenty of other guys"

"None as hot as Felipe"

We finish our food and start to walk into the hallway

"He's over there" Anna points to Felipe in the corner in the hallway with his friends

"I'll deal with him"

"Aria wow"

"Aria, it's Felipe Bianchi are you sure?"

"He doesn't scare me"

I walk closer to Felipe

"Wow, you think you can play with girls' hearts like that" I shout

"What's it to you" Felipe replied and we made intense eye contact, he has these blue eyes that look like the sea, and he has curly brown hair, has tanned skin, he is around 5'11 and from his build, he does work out which I can see through his school shirt. I admit he is attractive, but no one gets away from messing with my friends.

"Wow, you have some kind of issues which you need to fix, did mommy and daddy ignore you as a child so you play with girls' hearts instead of dealing with your problems"

"Who are you" he looks at me up and down with those sea-blue eyes

"That doesn't matter you do not treat girls like that, especially my friends like that, sort your issues out, move"

I push him

"Grow some actual balls," I say while walking back to my group of friends

"Wow, Aria"

"I told you I wasn't scared of him"

"Aria, you didn't have to do that" Anna says

"I did just please stay away from Felipe for the sake of your heart"

"I'll try, Aria"
