"Uncle mark." A small voice rang out. Mark turned around. "Hi baby girl." He said he walked over to her and bent down to be on her level. She ran into his arms. "Hi princess." He said. Addison came upstairs with her sleeping 6 year old in her arms. "Mark I think you should go." She said. "Mommy." Eliza ran and grabbed her mothers legs. "Hi darling." Addison said brushing her daughters hair with her fingers. Mark stood up and came over to Addison. "I don't regret anything that happened." "Go." She said turning away leading her daughters into the bedroom. Mark watched as Addison closed the door.

"Mommy, daddy said he was going away for a little. Where is he going?" Eliza asked looking up at her mom with hopeful eyes. Addison teared up, she rubbed her daughters check. "He's going for work baby." She said. "Ok mommy, tell him that I'll miss him." Addison sobbed. "I will baby." "Can I sleep in your bed tonight mommy?" "Of course baby girl."
As Addison was laying in bed with her two daughters, she realized that her husband just left her.

2 months later
"Are you ready baby?" Addison asked her 8 year old daughter. "Yeah!!" Eliza said excited to see her dad. Addison had Lilly in her arms almost asleep and Eliza was holding her hand.

"Meredith, I'm so sorry." Derek said as he watched the red head marched over to him with his 2 daughters. "DADDY." Eliza came running into Derek's arms. He picked her up and made brief eye contact with Meredith, "daddy?" Meredith whispered "Addison what are you doing here?" He asked. "You would know if you bothered to return any one of my phone calls. "Hi I'm Addison Shepard."
"Shepard." Meredith whispered again.
"And you must be the women who's been screwing my husband." Addison stuck her hand out.

"Addison let me take the girls." Adele and Richard came over the arguing couple. Meredith had left minutes ago with Derek chasing after her but he soon returned to get an explanation from his wife. Addison passed over Lilly and Eliza walked over to Richard.

Soon after Lilly woke up, "mommy?" She questioned. She set her eyes on Addison and made grabby hands toward her mother. Eliza stood there holding Richards hand watching her parents fight. "We'll take them for the night they can't watch this anymore." Adele decided. "Addison, we'll take them." "Are you sure?" Addison asked coming over to pick up her daughter. Derek stood there holding eye contact with Eliza.
"Eliza, Lilly, your going to stay with aunt Adele and uncle Richard tonight ok." Addison asked putting down Lilly and bending down to face her two girls, breaking Eliza's eye contact with her father. "Ok momma." Eliza said. "Lilly I'll see you tomorrow ok baby." Addison said stroking her daughters check. "Ok mommy." And with that Adele grabbed Lilly's hand and Richard was still holding Eliza's and the couple took the girls away. Addison turned and faced her husband. "Eliza's changed." Was all he said. "That's what happens when your father leaves you and tells you he's coming back and he doesn't." Addison said before walking out to go to her hotel room. Leaving Derek standing there alone.
