A/N: I do not wish to offend anyone when it comes to religion in this book. If you do not believe in a god or you believe in some other entity, just note I do not wish to offend you, as previously mentioned. <3

Thankfully sooner than later, everyone else had left the church. I wasn't sure how long I had spent in the church, but it was definitely a while. I could see a sunset through a big window higher than the rest. While its remarkably beautiful pattern made it hard to see, there was definitely a sunset. Nevertheless, looking at either the sunset or the window was pretty.

I heard a few taps against the ground, gradually becoming louder. I turned around to see Sarvente stumbling over to me. She seemed to be exaggerating just how tiring people could be. It was quite amusing.

"Sorry for the wait." She greeted, wiping her forehead. She looked to my right, and so did I. Ruv was walking over to the two of us. He held his emotionless expression, and it didn't send chills down my spine anymore. I was somewhat forced to see him throughout my entire stay here, since he was watching over Sarvente from a distance, next to me.

"Ruv! Meet- uh..." She frowned, having forgotten my name. I watched as she desperately searched through her memory trying to find my name, with little success.

"Y/N." I stated. She thanked me, and looked back up at Ruv. He seemed unamused and unfazed. He was clearly only here for Sarvente. We stood in silence for a few moments, and an uncomfortable aura fell onto the three of us. I could visibly see how uncomfortable Sarvente was, but couldn't think of anything to break the silence.

"Well then. Now that you two have met, I'll continue. Y/N here has asked me for the assistance of repenting for their sins." Sarvente spoke with a smile, breaking the silence.

"In return, I'm going to ask for you servitude to the church." Her smile faded away. I fully understood what she meant by this. I'd have to give up my time and energy for the church. It did seem like it needed a pair of extra hands though, considering from the news, Sarv wasn't looking to hire anyone at the moment. However, with that in mind, I seemed like an exception.

I nodded my head to her, agreeing with the terms. Ruv was keeping his eye on me throughout our entire small conversation. It made me a bit nervous, but I tried to push it down. My priority right now was trying to start my journey to repenting for my sins.

"Then it's settled! I'll help you, and you'll help me." Sarvente cheered. I heard Ruv grumble, but I only smiled at the joy emitting from the woman. She had a small moment of happy stimming, but she quickly went back to a more relaxed position.

"If you don't mind, Y/N, I'd like to request you move some of your belongings into the church. I can put together an extra room for you." She held her hands together in front of her thighs, having made the atmosphere welcoming yet serious. Looking up at her, I'd only just then realized just how captivating her pearly white eyes were. It made my heart skip a beat.

"That's alright with me. Will I still be able to attend my actual job to make sure I can pay bills?" I asked. She didn't say it'd be permanent after all. I still had to pay bills for my own home, and if I couldn't do that, then I'd lose the house. I slightly frowned to myself, seeing as I hadn't had the home for that long, and wished to keep it.

"Of course. I understand how important that is." She placed one of her hands on my shoulder, with care. I heard Ruv huff from behind me, and this time, Sarvente looked up to him. I could see her give him a dirty look. It seemed odd from my perspective, since I'd really only seen her face happy.
