Chapter 3 - So that's why I'm adopted

Start from the beginning

"I'm Poppy and this is Hannah" The girl who was wearing a flowery (very mini) skirt and a pink oversized tanktop, told me. I smiled.

"I'm Soph," I introduced myself.

"So, how long have you been dancing?" Hannah, who was wearing a skinny jeans and a top that said love on it in swirly writing.

"Since I was about two," I replied. Poppy and Hannah looked impressed.

"You're really pretty," Poppy blurted. Hannah rolled her eyes.

"Subtle," She laughed. I smiled.

"Thank you, you're both very pretty too," I told them. Hannah blushed a little and Poppy beamed at me. It was true though, Poppy had long brown hair with reddish tips that reached the middle of her back, hazelly-green eyes, perfect heart shaped lips and she was ridiculously skinny. Hannah had brown hair that reached just past her shoulders, brown eyes and she too, was ridiculously skinny.

"So, how long have you known, you're Harry's sister? I haven't seen you around here before?" Hannah asked. I opened my mouth.

"Did you used to fancy him? That would be so awkward!" She turned to Hannah. "Wouldn't that be so awkward?" .

Hannah rolled her eyes again and laughed, she then looked back at me and waited for an answer.

"Only a few hours! And no, I didn't fancy him," I replied.

They both nodded, then Poppy randomly started humming under her breath. Hannah then hit her gently on the arm.

"Don't hum! It's annoying!" Hannah said. "Sing instead, it's much nicer."

Poppy then started to sing, Little bird by Ed Sheeran. Hannah smiled, satisfied. When Poppy started to sing louder, nobody in the dance group seemed to care. It looked like they were used to the two random girls' behaviour. I smiled.

"So, do you want to start coming to dance practice? It's every Friday at 6 until 9," Hannah asked. I nodded.

"Yeah sure I'll be there tomorrow," I told them.

"Are you living with Harry at the moment?" Poppy asked. I nodded.

"I'll pick you up then, because I don't live far away," She explained. I nodded and thanked her.

"And you've used that to your advantage before haven't you Po?" Hannah giggled, nudging Poppy and winking at her. Poppy pushed her off and stuck her tongue out. I wasn't sure what they were talking about but I wasn't going to pry.

"So have you ever done a 12 hour dance recital?" Hannah asked.

I shook my head.

"It sounds like fun though,"

There was silence for a while. Then Poppy and Hannah both started singing exactly the same song, its like they were telepathic.

"Tell me I'm a screwed up mess! That I never listen listen., tell me you don't want my kiss,"

They belted out. The other girls yet again, didn't care. I giggled. These girls reminded me of how Bessie, Molly and I acted.

Just then Harry came back over. I saw the awkward eye contact between him and Poppy but chose to ignore it.

"Mum just rang and I told her you'd made some friends' she says to invite them over to tea," He said, keeping his eyes fixed on me. I guess as not to see Poppy. I nodded, and turned to Poppy and Hannah, but they were already on their feet. I smiled and we made our way back to where Louis was waiting. He gave us all a smile and then we all followed him and Harry out of the park.

"I bet Pops is really looking forward to this dinner," Hannah said innocently, earning herself a hit on the arm from Poppy.

"She is sooo excited," Hannah continued. Poppy's hand flew over Hannah's mouth, but flew away quickly and accompanied by a squeal as Hannah licked it.

I laughed, but I had no idea what Hannah was hinting at or, what Poppy was trying to hide, but I didn't care. These girls were my new friends.

~~ Harry's point of view~~

Poppy. Of all the hot dancer girls! She had to make friends with Poppy. Hannah was fine, she was perfectly nice and well, we had no history. But Poppy, that beautiful girl held too many memories, every time she flashed her white teeth, it hurt to think, every time she laughed, my mind flooded. Every time she said something stupid, like she did alot, It was hard not to smile.

I heard laughter behind us as Hannah and Soph told Poppy that Unicorns didn't exist and wasn't a carrer option. I smiled slightly. Then again, that beautiful girl, she still made me smile didn't she? Why couldn't I just forget about her. Well I pretty much had until Soph decided she wanted to make friends with her.

Hannah I could deal with. She was just Poppy's beautiful friend, I could of dealed with that. But Poppy was a whole diffrent story.
