41. harry wakes riv up and is all soft with her trying to get her to eat - when she says she can't she's too nervous, harry offers to go to the town for dinner - they go out and there are men cat calling her - he shoos them off by calling her "la mi bella ragazza" riv runs off to learn more italian to get harry cigarettes and wine - harry defends her when the clerk says shitty things - they have "street meat" together - harry says polpettone means meatloaf - they get back to the rooms and riv asks to go look at the stars for a while
42. 🫣they talk a bit but riv ends up dangling over the railing!! after that harry comes in to sleep in the same bed with pillows - they thank eachother for being each others distractions
43. harry's pov!! harry starts freaking out over him going over the barrier they made "she trusted me" - after the freak out they both go take showers - they mess around a bit - zayn and morgan get there and they talk while morgs and riv get dressed - she comes out looking hot as fuck and harry tries to convince her not to wear it - but she is!
44. they go to get in the suvs to get to the place - the whole drive river is nervous and they talk about eachother and harry tells her don't look away when she smiles - riv wishes she knew more about him so h tells her to ask him questions - he answers all of them - when they got super close riv was freaking out big time - h puts her into his lap and helps her calm down - riv somehow gets her confidence and adrenaline and acts a bad bitch - she kisses h and puts her gum in his mouth - the deal goes successfully even though damien set her up - she got the product after being a bad bitch and breaking his nose
45. they all go to a bar except for harry and zayn and riv has been checked out for a while - once z and h come back everyone needs to leave - harry killed tamarrans men and him now they are trying to kill them - harry gets everyone out and goes back in - once harry comes out they sprint for their lives - they need to get on a motorbike and riv needs to face her fears, harry is facing his fear of touch on his stomach "we're both facing fears today" - they both successfully get away after riv shot 2 dudes - they get on the plane and they clean each others wounds - 🫣🫣
46. riv and harry had been talking ab random shit all night instead of sleeping - harry added to his playlist and he laughs, he's so soft with her - when they land they drive back to rivs apartment - he has his hand on her thigh/knee - she falls asleep on the way - they get inside and they both realize her neck has a huge bruise and he starts kissing it, riv thought he was trying to have sex but really was whipped - they decide to go to bed with the pillow wall - "how are you feeling?" river starts freaking out about how harry almost died and couldn't breathe - harry throws the pillow wall off the bed and comforts riv, they leave them on the floor - "i won't hurt you and i know you won't hurt me"
47. riv wakes up to harry spooning her and she pretends to be asleep - when she wakes up after him she makes him waffles with shit on top - riv accidentally brings up the fight and feels guilty but h reassured her - 🫣🫣 shower time with daddy! - afterwards they drive to rivs studio and harry stays in the back room while she works - rivs friends show up and see harry, they tell him it's her birthday bc he didn't know and he's mad ab it - riv lashes and says they aren't even friends why would they share niceties - after dinner with her friends riv gets home to find a canvas painted of italy from harry for her bday "for you to have this beautiful place always"
48. harry's pov!!! they haven't spoken since rivs birthday even though she called him - harry realizes all the wrongs he's done to her and that he cares about her when he didn't intend to, he's been laying in bed thinking of her and loaf - he's at the fight with the boys and goes to get a drink - a girl touches him and all he can think of is river and how her touch doesn't hurt him - damien shows up and they discuss how damien almost killed riv and how harry needs to do shit to keep river alive - chat with morgan she knows?!
