Chapter 55

They couldn't even watch you through the hospital's surveillance because the camera's lense in the hospital room you were staying at had been capped.

Mikey couldn't STAND the idea of not knowing ANYTHING about you but nothing else could've been done.

They even read that you had sustained HORRIBLE injuries that night.

Because of that, Takeomi had suggested that they waited until you were healed enough before trying anything.

Because the last thing they wanted to do was unintentionally hurt you while you're still recovering.

But the more they waited, the more nervous they got.

Days turned to weeks.

And weeks turned to months.

But regardless of the time, Mikey refused to let you die.

He won't let them take you from him.

You were already taken from him once.

And he refuses to let you go that easily...

Especially after the sacrifice you made for them....

**Flashback to 3 Months Ago**

"Where's (Y/N)?"

Suki kept her gaze down to avoid looking at them.

Takeomi- "Suki..."

Suki bit her lip before getting off her bike, almost knocking Dr Hoang off.

She then grabbed a red gallon and made her way back to her bike to fill up the tank.

Mochi- "Suki..."

Suki sighs.

Suki- "We don't have alot of time, we have to go now."

Mikey- "I'm not leaving without (Y/N)..."

Suki clenched the gallon in her hand.

Suki- "She's not coming..."

Kokonoi- "What do you mean she's not coming??"

Suki clenches her jaw a bit.

Suki- "That bastard implanted a chip on (Y/N) without us knowing...but by the time I saw it the cops were already too close to avoid from the hideout..."

Rindou- "Why didn't you just take it out?"

Suki- "Its implanted deep under her skin...."

After Suki fills her bike's tank, she places the cap back on her bike and tosses the empty jug elsewhere.

Suki- "Because they're using her to track us....she volunteered to distract the cops while WE make a break for-."

"-Ran!"

Rindou and Kakucho quickly took a hold of Ran after he started rushing to one of the cars.

Ran- "Let me go! I can still get to (Y/N) before they catch her!"

Suki- "Ran she already took off and we have to get out while we still can!"

Ran- "But they'll kill her if she gets caught!"

Suki- "I told her that and she STILL went with the plan..."

Ran looked at Suki in sadness.

Ran- "So....what will happen if she never comes back?"

They suddenly hear the police sirens getting louder and the chopper already over the hideout.

Suki just looks down and turns back to her bike.

Rindou- "We have to go brother..."

Without another word, all the members quickly get to a car.

All except for Mikey.

Suki notices and walks up to him.

Suki- "She wanted to make sure we ALL got away....but before she left....she did wanted me to pass a message to you."

Mikey looked up at Suki.

Mikey- "If its Goodbye then I don't want to hear it..."

Suki shakes her head NO and she leaned down to whisper to him.

He broke down.

3 words she said to him.

And those 3 words made him fall to his knees and crumble.

Ever since that night, Mikey was determined to bring you back.

He wanted to bring you where you belonged.

Where you are happy.

He may not know you for long but he can TELL when someone's smile is genuine.

And yours was DEFINITELY genuine.

Seeing how you act around them.

How she smiles at himS

He just hated that he had to wait THIS long to be able to fulfill his mission.

But after 3 months.

Long.

Tiring.

Sleepless.

Stressful months.

"Mikey..."

Mikey turns around to find Kokonoi by his door.
