Then all of a suden the boat stops and JJ flies out of the boat and we all fall to the floor of it.

"Jesus Pope!" Kie says getting up.

"You ok JJ?" John B asks him.

"I think my heels touched the back of my head." he says.

"What happened?" I ask going towards Pope.

"Sandbar. The channel changed." Pope says.

"Hey, I saved the beer tough." JJ says showing the beer in his hand.

I turn to look at him and furrow my eyebrows.

"Congrats JJ." John B says ironically.

"You fly out of the boat and you're happy 'cause you saved the beer?" I ask in disbelief.

"Yeah." he says coming towards the boat.

"Guys I think there's a boat down there." Pope says catching out attention.

"Shut up." John B says, not believing him.

"What?" I ask.

"No way." Kie says, not believing either.

"No, I'm serious." Pope says.

I lean to see better and see a boat.

"Guys he's right. It's a boat." I say.

"Holy shit, they're right. Let's go." Kie says jumping in the water.

"Let's go where?" I ask.

"You think there's a dead body down there?" Pope asks.

"Why would you say-" I say being interrupted.

"Are you two coming or what?" Kie asks in the water.

We turn to look at her and they were all in the water already, but me and Pope.

"Guys wait up." Pope says taking off his shirt and jumping as well.

I do the same (taking off my shirt and shorts) and jump as well.

"Guys what are you doing?" I ask.

Too late, they all went down the water so I followed them.

After a few seconds we came back up.

"You guys saw that?" JJ asks.

"Yeah." Pope says.

"Yeah, I did." John B says.

"That's a Grandy-White. A new one of those is like 500 Gs, easy." JJ says excited.

I didn't understand literally nothing but just nod like the others did.

"That's the boat I saw when I surfed the surge!" John B says, making me look at him with wide eyes.

"Maybe it hit the jeddy or something." John B says.

"You did what?" I ask.

"You surfed the surge?" Kie says worried as well.

"Yeah. Bella you don't do it." John B says.

"That's my boy. Pogue style." JJ says cheering him.

"What the heck?" Kie asks.

"Wait wait. Do we know whose boat that is?" Pope asks.

"No, but we're about to find out." John B says.

"Dude, it's too deep." JJ says.
