"She's just getting another gauze around her arm, and they're fixing some stitches she broke. She'll be out soon. Do you want me to send her in here?"another nurse asked. I nodded.

About ten minutes later, that same nurse came in smiling. I heard Lauren before I saw her, which would have made me laugh if I hadn't lost my voice.

You see, Lauren has this thing that if she's in a REALLY bad mood you will hear her before you see her. I rubbed my eye tiredly and smiled.

"DON'T GIVE ME THIS BULLSHIT AGAIN. No, I don't fucking need crutches, I don't fucking need pain killers. I AM FINE." I heard her said. I rolled my eyes.

Then she came in. "Why am I in here?" she asked, not noticing I was awake.

I noticed her arm was heavily bandaged, and that was about it. She had some scratches here and there. I felt proud I protected her from getting hurt any more than that.

The nurse pointed at me. Lauren got wide eyed, then rushed over to the bed and hugged me. She started crying on my shirt.

"Please tell me this isn't a dream..." she whispered. I smiled and pulled her onto my lap.

I shook my head, and kissed her cheek. She squeezed me as hard as she could.

"NEVER do that to me AGAIN Ramsay. NEVER AGAIN." she said. I hugged her.

"I swear." I said, my voice hoarse.

Despite the fact she was free to go home, Lauren stayed with me the whole night. Matt, Mike, and Ian visited for a while, then they left to go tell the crowds of fans outside I survived.

"Lauren do you want to sleep in the chair?" a nurse asked late at night.

Lauren shook her head. The nurse shrugged. Lauren slept the whole night, sitting on my lap, her arms laced around my neck, and her head on my shoulder. But hey, it's not like I'm complaining or anything.

The next morning, while Lauren went to get checked out one last time, Matt came with a bundle of clothes. I realized it was the clothes I was wearing the night of the crash.

"Hi." I said. He smiled.

"I found the ring you made." he said. I blushed. He slipped the ring back into my hands.

"I think she'd like it better if you proposed in front of our fans, instead of in a hospital." he said. I smiled.

"I'm glad to know you're okay with it." I said. He smiled.

"Hey, it was bound to happen sometime." he said. Lauren came back in.

"We're all ready to go! Want me to unhook you from all this crap or them?" she asked. I kinda wanted to get out of here fast, because now I was excited.

Matt winked at me. "You. I wanna get out of this hell hole as fast as I can." I said.

She smiled and started to unhook a bunch of things. I don't even want to know how she knew how to do all of this. When she got to my IV, she looked at me before she pulled it out.

"This might hurt a little. It's a big needle." she said. I gave her a reassuring smile, and she pulled it out.

It stung a bit, but the pain went away. Matt turned away, and I changed into my clothes. Lauren gave me some crutches and we were all ready to go.

Mike and Ian met us at the door.

"There's a lot of people out there waiting to see you guys." they said. Lauren laced her fingers between mine.
