"Why are you cleaning up so much?" she hummed, quickly applying blush onto the apples of her cheeks.
"Jaemin and I are starting on our project today."
"Oh, where are you guys meeting?"
"Here," you replied as if it was obvious.
"You devil!" she teased, putting away her makeup. You raised an eyebrow at her as you started putting away the cleaning supplies you took out. "You're having him over knowing we weren't going to be here."
"We're just meeting before class! It's not like that- I don't even like him!" you added the last part, raising your voice when you did.
"Just don't have sex on the couch," Swan emerged from the bathroom, ready for work.
"We are not having sex," you hissed, running your fingers through your hair in frustration as a knock was heard at the door. Swan stood right by the entrance, and opened it enough to peek at who it was.
"Ugh, you're not the cute boy," she huffed, moving aside as Hendery entered your townhome.
"No, I am a sexy man, Swan. Get it right," Hendery was carrying a tablet and a bottle of coke along with a set of car keys.
"What are you doing here?" it wasn't all that out of the ordinary for Hendery to randomly swing by your place, but he would normally message you beforehand. Swan shut the door and you all stared at him expectantly.
"I'm finishing shading for the last chapter of Flight of the Wolves- excuse me for wanting to be around you as I did it!"
"Dude, talk about bad timing," Ireh whistled as she moved towards the door. Hendery raised an eyebrow as you shook your head, irritated by your cousin.
"My partner for a group project is coming over."
"I'll be quiet."
"That's a first," Swan teased. Hendery stuck his tongue out at her, another knock at the door then taking everyone's attention. Ireh opened it, and judging by the groan that came from Hendery when it opened, it was who you thought it was.
"See? This is a cute boy," Swan gestured for Hendery to see. You moved forward towards the door to see Jaemin awkwardly fidgeting with the straps of his backpack as he seemed to try and figure out what on earth he was walking into.
"Hi Jaemin! Swan and Ireh are heading to work now, and Hendery is going to be doing some work in my room," you explained. Ireh and Swan stepped out then, waving to Jaemin as they left and he entered. As he passed you, you were caught off guard by the soft scent of cologne that he seemed to have on.
"Nice to see you y/n, Hendery," he greeted.
"Do I have to work in your room?" Hendery ignored Jaemin, frowning. You glared at your cousin, earning a sigh as he moved down the hall to your room, shutting the door behind him.
"Sorry about that, everyone is a bit overbearing today," you tried laughing it off and gestured to the dining room table.
"It's okay, my roommates were annoying today too."
"How so?" you asked, leaning your elbows on the table as you listened. He seemed to have thought about his outfit today- he put on his contacts, had set his hair in an orderly manner, and had on a t-shirt with an oversized button up jacket over it.
He thought for a moment before sending you a teasing smile and saying, "oh you know. Sungchan was just talking about when you guys dated."
"I'm going to kill him," you took out your phone then, already typing up a message until you heard Jaemin's laughter, knowing that he got under your skin. "You are all the worst."
