"Oh, okay, cool. I'll um talk to you tomorrow," you went to hang up before Jaemin quickly spoke up.

"When do you finish work?"

"Around three, why?"

"Let's meet up after work to start on the project," his forwardness took you aback, and you were confused as to whether this was the same person who wouldn't even speak to you in the car a few weeks ago.

"Sure, do you wanna come over to my place?" you asked. Maybe Ireh and Swan seeing you two interact in person would help them lay off, plus you really should cool it on spending more money than you need to on coffee at random cafes.

"Uh.... yeah! That works!" you seemed to catch him off guard, but you shrugged.

"I'll text you my address, see you then."

The next day, you had a meeting in the morning with Kun. He decided to compile some more messages directed at Patches for you to see.

"Why are you showing me these?" you were rubbing your forehead in irritation. All you wanted to do was tighten up your storyboard and then proceed to hide them in your closet before Jaemin could get there.

"So I have a contact over In GeekLabs that told me they're trying to run a story on your real identity," your eyes widened when you heard this.

"Wait, what? Why?"

"Your name gives them the engagement they want, so I guess they thought this would continue giving them that."

"Do you know who is investigating the story?" it couldn't be Jaemin- he already said he hardly wanted to even write the first article.

"Nope, but using Occam's razor, it's probably the same kid who wrote the first one," Kun was jotting a note down to himself. "Oh, and Hendery sent me the first batch of chapters to review. Everything is looking great for this finale," a rare compliment from Kun.

"I'm glad," it was a strange feeling, knowing that something you had been working on for so long was finally coming to an end- but, it was also incredibly rewarding and almost freeing at the prospect of doing something new.

"All right, I'll keep you posted on the editing. Remember I need those storyboards in by the end of the month," he repeated.

"I know I know, talk to you soon Kun," you waved and clicked off the meeting, turning back around to see the several cork boards lined along your wall along with the small panel by panel sketches you were making for your next comic. You made sure to set an alarm for three thirty, and started back to work.

---

Jaemin on the other hand, decided to stick to one corkboard while he tried to figure out your identity. While he managed to clean up his room, he figured a board was the best way to keep himself organized. A good amount of his night at your parents house was still hazy to him, but one thing still stuck- the fact that this person was visibly soinfluenced by both the works of Finder x Locator plus Magical Girl Moonie.

They were both popular and influential works, yes, but there was something else he remembered that was nagging at him. It was the looks you and your cousin kept exchanging when Jaemin spoke about your parents and the similarities to Flight of the Wolves.

So, Jaemin's journey led him onto Hendery's LinkedIn. Jaemin was taken aback by how impressive Hendery's resume was despite being so young- but it was what was listed as his current jobs that had him really thinking. Hendery was listed as an Acoustical Mechanical Engineer for the past year, as well as an Assistant in WizMedia.
