"What do you want to know?" I asked and groaned as I leaned forward and leaned back again. We were all excused from class for two days. We could basically all do whatever in the hell we wanted and they wouldn't have cared. Well it had to be school appropriate, of course.

"How long have you been a medium for?" He asked and I sighed as I thought about that one.

"I was four when I first started seeing ghosts officially. My mum and dad had me tested, but, the doctor didn't find anything." I said and he sighed but nodded.

"How did you become a medium?" He asked and I looked around and saw we had plenty of time before lunch time.

"You have to be born one. It's actually a gift. My grandfathers whole side and a bit of my grandmothers side were all mediums. Either me or my sister was supposed to get the gift and I was the one to receive it." I said and he nodded as he sat and thought for a minute.

"How does it feel to be able to do what you do?" He asked and I smiled softly before I answered.

"It's really different each time. Sometimes it can be good and sometimes it can be bad. But it feels pretty cool, it's annoying hearing it sometimes, seeing them can be different each time, and tasting them only really happens once in a long while." I said and he nodded.

"Does it hurt?" He asked and I nodded. I was handed a shirt and I smiled at Krystal. She nodded and Stephanie came over. It was annoying to see her.

"I brought you some ice," she said and I gasped as soon as I touched her hand. She furrowed her brows as I took her arm in my hand and turned it all around. Nothing. I turned and slipped her shirt off. I gasped and my eyes widened. There were flesh wounds. Evil markings and letter written all over her body.

I ran my hand over it and she went across the room in a flash. She hissed and I gulped as her fangs slid out. Jake was staring at her back as she turned and leaned against the counter. He almost got up but I shook my head furiously at him. He stayed where he was as I slowly walked over.

"A half vampire, I'm pretty impressed. It's okay. Let me get a good look at them," I said and she tensed up but sighed and I knew she was slowly starting to trust me. T.J. came in and he got Krystal to help get the blood off. He stitched her up and I smiled as I leaned against the wall.

"Your mum, how is she?" I cocked my head to the side and raised a manicured eyebrow. She growled and I hissed back, my animal side coming out.

"How's the sister?" She asked and I growled at her. A warning. She smirked and I glared at her.

"Dead thanks to your family." I said and she snorted before she looked up at me.

"Your family started it by killing my mum," she said and it was my turn to snort and look at her.

"An eye for an eye, eh?" I asked and she shook her head and rolled her eyes at me as she smiled.

"How's is poor father theses days?" She asked as she perched herself on top of one of the side tables.

"I wouldn't know, I haven't seen him since he found out." I said and she laughed bitterly.

"Oh don't worry he left when he found out about me too," she said and I rolled my eyes as I laughed bitterly.

"How long?" I asked and she sighed but sat as usual.

"A week," she said and I growled as I dug my fingers into the hardwood of the lab tables.

"Careful sister, you may leave a dent in the table." He smirked as she said it and I shot a cold glare at her.

"I could make an even worse dent in your face, if you want." I said and she growled at me.

"Oh right still to afraid to take on your younger, stronger sister." I said and she glared at me. My head snapped over and my face lost all of its color. The atmosphere became cold as she stepped in. My mum.

"Sister?" Steph said and I growled. She shut up immediately.

"Hi baby!" She said and I flung my arms around her. I felt something dig into my side and I cried out when I stumbled back. A knife was stuck into my side.

"Mum?" I asked and coughed up blood. Steph growled and mum disappeared. Krystal and T.J. both ran in. I coughed up a lot more blood and Krystal stopped it. T.J. cleaned up and stitch me up again.

"She's back. Stronger than ever," I warned and Krystal nodded one, solid nod. I knew she understood who I meant and I was glad she did.
