"I would prefer that you don't tell his Majesty about this" He looked at me confused as I continued to talk

"you probably know me as His Majesty's personal scholar which means I managed most of his works ever since...but I still want to get away a bit- at least until the young Alpheus graduate...but if it's not possible you may forget about what I said" I looked away a bit, knowing I had told them an unreasonable request

"Hmm..you could stay here on one condition" He gave me a reassuring smile as I look at him eyes widen with surprise

"M-may I know what is it?" I was clearly trying to hide my excitement yet I think they already noticed as he let out a small chuckle

"If you are willing to be a teacher here then we'll gladly let you stay...You would get payed just like the rest of them and the money used to pay your tuition shall be moved to your own personal use" I placed my hand on my chin as I carefully think about his proposal

"Won't the other students and teachers feel uncomfortable seeing a young child teaching them?" He gave me a reassuring smile as he looked at me

"Knowing you're skill you'll clearly show them what you're capable of!" He gave me a thumbs up as I slightly chuckle

"If that's so then Pardon my intrusion" I slightly stood up as I bowed my head

"Sir Amel don't worry! you aren't, and this shall benefit the both of us" He stood up from his seat as he bring his hand forward

"You shall start next year! but if you want to, you could always visit some classes to get some idea about a teacher's life" He shaked my hand as I gave him a small smile before leaving the room

Sigh- Looks like this would be a very Interesting year, I slowly try to process everything that happened as I enter my room to see a sight of Ijekiel arguing with Carlos, they both stop as they turned to look at me

"Amel where were you!? I was worried" Carlos hugged me as I patted his head giving him a small smile, he immediately went red as he turned away from me

"Moon where have you been? If it's about I said earlier I apologise" Kiel immediately pulled Carlos away from me as he bowed his head making Carlos Follow behind

"No, that's not it, I just got caught up with something important" I gave them a bright smile saying it's okay

"Aww Amel you are so cute!-" Before Carlos could finish his sentence Kiel immediately pushed him out of the room as he locked the door

"finally some peace" I laughed as what he said as he slightly turned pink

"Kiel are you okay!? do you have a fever? you look quite red!" I immediately placed my forehead on his head to check his temperature, I've read this on books saying this method is much more certain than the rest
