Have you ever heard the saying "Stranger Danger"? That one confuses me sometimes because at one point all of my friends were strangers but it's hard to know where to place your trust. Knowing who you can trust is always a long and painful game. School has always been hell for me. Not in a literal sense but people can be so mean and for no reason. I am fine with all the name-calling because I know that at the end of the day, I have my few friends that I know I can trust for a fact. My friend group consists of four people so a very small group. I don't like crowds, Yes I have tried hanging out with the "Lads" before and couldn't stand it. I'd much rather stay indoors playing board games than sports.
Uno has always been one of my favourites. I mean the rules are so simple you either match the colour or the number although for such a simple game it can get rather chaotic. We like to add our own set of rules to enhance the game but it usually leads to us getting too loud, Not shouting but just having a good time. I think this is probably why we were kicked out of the drama studio.
My group of friends are rather Chaotic but like the good kind. It might be a clash of personalities or people that seem different but somehow we all come together to create this safe space. I feel like I can be more myself around them more than anyone else. Take Shane for example, He's a huge sports fan. Whether it be football or rugby or even swimming, He just seems to be good at everything. Well, not everything not to hurt his feelings but his grades could use touching up. Maybe less sport and some more studying. I never expected him to come into my life because of the type of people he tends to hang around with but he would always acknowledge I exist, unlike other people. It is nice and comforting to know that not all the sports lads are jerks and that some can be nice. Shane is 6 ft 2 with blonde hair in the style of a mullet. He tends to wear a lot of chequered shirts and Jeans. match that all together and you have a rough image of our first misfits.
